Is this suitable for decking? I'm concerned that it may be slippy.

As it is silicon based I would not recommend it for decking. Decking oil would be better

what finish does it give - silk matt gloss please

Thank you for your enquiry into Roxil, the Silicone Wood Protector.Once Roxil has been applied and absorbed, the wood should go back to its original appearance. It should not have any visual effect on the wood.If any water were to come into contact with the treated wood, you will notice a beading effect and the water particles will not be able to absorb. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Safeguard Technical Team on 01403 210204.Many thanks and kind regards,Safeguard Europe Ltd01403 210204

What is the difference between the liquid and the cream?

The Liquid is a Milk like consistency so it is applied with a brush, very runny and drys very fast so the second coat needs to be applied within 30 Minutes of the first coat as once completely dry seals the wood. First time application only needs two applications. Really quick and easy to use product. .

is this safe for bird nest boxes

Yes it is safe provided it is used on the external surfaces only. The perches and entrance hole should remain untreated to ensure nothing is transferred to the interior.
