Amazon Basics Heavy-Duty Outdoor Broom, Blue&White

I purchased this broom for sweeping up hay and shavings in my guinea pig shed. It's absolutely fantastic for the job. Cleans the floor very easily without the hay sticking to the bristles. The bristles are slightly angled, are soft but not flimsy and get into all the corners nooks and crannies! The handle is in three parts, pushes in them screws together firmly and has not come undone. The whole broom is solid, heavy and great quality. I can very highly recommend it and I'll never go back to a conventional broom.

Fantastic brush. Angle /design enables you to get under, behind and round things easily. Simple assembly....no instructions required. Weight, height and sturdiness good. It even works on carpet. Will keep this one for the house and probably order another for the outside patio. I personally so far cannot find fault.

Really solid, and has the right weight to stay firm while sweeping. Excellent indoors. Only loses a star because it claims its suitable for outdoors and well its not quite big enough for that when used for sweeping leaves from a garden. Probably good enough to tidy up a wooden patio though.

Excellent product for the price, extremely sturdy handle as opposed to the bendy "metal" handles I've broken so many of! Perfect for those who prefer a traditional broom to a brush, the long bristles do take a little getting used to but they are great for getting under the sofa and units. I can't see me needing to replace this unless the hubby pinches it to put in the van, it feels so well made I can't forsee any pieces breaking.

I was a little hesitant getting a broom that came in pieces as they tend to bend and brake where you attach them, but this one surprised me. It is so heavy weight and sturdy! I've been using it for several weeks now and not had any issues at all. The bristles are really long and do a great job on both our laminate floors and carpets, collecting general dust, pet hairs, etc with ease. It's like a really nice mix of a broom and a standard brush. Perfect for day to day house chores! Would highly recommend as a low cost but super reliable broom.

It's a decent broom and super easy to assemble, but I was disappointed because it was advertised as a 'heavy duty' broom for 'outdoor or industrial use' and was supposed to have 'extra stiff' bristles, but it's no different from a standard indoor broom. The bristles aren't stiff -- when I tried to sweep the stone walkway, they weren't strong enough to dislodge clumps of dirt, even with repeated sweeping. Meanwhile, the bristles bend so much that they flick anything lightweight quite far away. So after a few mintues, I had to give up and swap it out for my indoor broom, which, while still not great, did a 3x better job. If there wasn't a lockdown, I'd definitely return this. But I don't think recovering my £10+ is adequate reason to go stand in a post office queue.

best broom I could ask for for the price. nice soft bristles and cleans dirt and fur great! Easy to assemble and came nice and fast. love this broom.

It sweeps up and doesn’t leave finer bits behind. Great that it unscrews if you need it to. Did leave it outside and it rained and noticed some rusty water dribbling out of the screw joints so probably not designed for being outdoors in all weathers
