So my kid is for some reason into these 80’s cars from watching YouTube. He has the Delorean from Back to the Future and now has the Knight Rider cars. KARR comes as pictured. He has a noticeable yellow scanner light in the front as in the tv show. His hood, doors, and trunk open. The detail work is great. He does everything but talk and make sounds. Very durable as it is made of metal. Could be a display or just play piece.

If you’re an nostalgic fan of the 80’s then I’d recommend KARR, from Jada. I’ve collected a few 1:24 scale vehicles now, (including Jada’s KITT) as they’re relatively decent looking replicas of the original and priced a lot better than the 1:18 scale models. This holds true with KARR, as his 1:18 scale price point is well over $120—which, in the middle of a global pandemic, that $ goes to groceries, gas and essentials—not hobbies. While the tires on Jada vehicles tend to look a little sunken down into the wheel wells, (just my opinion) it’s not that noticeable; and they’ve produced a solid looking modified ‘78Trans Am Firebird with KARR and distinguished him enough from KITT with the two-tone paint job he received later on, and the amber colored scanner—which lights up! Looking at reviews of the Hot Wheels Elite KARR, while good looking; it shows a very dim scanner. Jada’s is nice and bright. Joyride (A series from ERTYL I believe, but now defunct) made a great pair of Kitt&Karr models but they are almost impossible to find now. My only gripe is there’s some roughness on the paint job, (physically rough patches and mild discoloration in the silver) but imperfections are bound to happen at this mass-produced price point. Overall, the best and least expensive version of KARR you’ll find to add to your collection.

Love the design overall great look. I just wish the car would talk like in tv series. Maybe in the near future. Brings back memories.

Les portières, le capot et le coffre s'ouvrent, la portière conducteur active le scanner à l'avant (orange et pas rouge, fidèle dans les moindres détails). Très belle finition extérieure, même le châssis est réalisé avec soin et montre pots d'échappements et fusées, l'intérieur est basique mais bien dessiné et le tableau de bord est (relativement du fait de la taille du modèle) fidèle à celui de la série. Les 4 roues tournent librement, les pièces mobiles peuvent rester ouvertes sans soucis pour l'exposition. En parlant d'exposition, la voiture est livrée dans une boite contenant un petit décor ainsi qu'un système de fixation à visser sous la voiture (vis fournis) pour qu'elle tienne sur la plate-forme cartonnée, personnellement j'ai retiré ce système et pense l'utiliser pour fixer la voiture à un support plus esthétique. Acheté en complément de KITT, KARR trône maintenant sur une étagère et n'a pas cherché à s'échapper (pour l'instant)

Ottimi materiali, pile già nell' auto, dettagli perfetti, il resto è come da descrizione. Per chi non l' avesse capito, quando si apre lo sportello guidatore si illuminano i led davanti al cofano, proprio come nel film. Ma solo in pochi modelli, infatti ce ne sono molti su Amazon ma non fatevi fregare, molti costano di meno ma non hanno i led, che a parer mio valgono quel di più che costa.
