A reasonable choice for those who want an easy-to-apply near-eutectic solder for their DIY work, but don't want to breathe lead vapour. Needs a higher temperature than the usual Sn/Pb (as usual), but does not seem to leave the gooey mess that other (non-eutectic) lead-free formulas do when not adequately heated.
