Are these the shiny silicone plastic ones, or are they tradition rubber?

They are the shiny silicone plastic type.

What happens if you microwave it?

Do not buy these they are the worst!!!! They’d snap 5 seconds after putting them into your hair

Are there will be good for my 3 year old

Yes, i use them on my 1 year old . They do not tangle on her hair.

Do these clear elastic bands pull out your natural hair like the black rubber bands do?

I am reaching up and sliding the band I have in my hair and, gently pulling, it didn't seem to do that knot up thing those black bands do. I have baby fine hair and that's why they work for me.
