Gourmia GTF7600 16-in-1 Multi-function, Digital Stainless Steel Air Fryer Oven - 17 Cooking Presets, silver

I received my Gourmia GTF7600 yesterday and I'm so happy I picked this model over Cuisinart. The tipping point in favor of this product was the stainless steel basket and trays which wasn't an option with the cuisinart.In 24 hours I made toast, cheese toast / open face grilled cheese with tomatoes, zucchini fries and top sirloin and everything turned out perfect! This product is easy to clean, the inside wiped perfectly clean, the basket easy to clean and I just fit the drip pan with aluminum so no cleaning. Product is easy to understand and use. I'm very happy.The knob got warm/hot but I could touch it with no problem. A tiny amount of sticky residue was left on door from tape, I didn't remove it till later with oil because I honestly didn't notice it when product is on the counter.Size wise it's perfect, I didn't want something to small but I couldn't get an idea how much I could cook with any of the air fryer/convection ovens. I was able to air fry 2 zucchinis perfectly with some extra room left, a smaller size basket doesn't seem like it would be worth having.The Gourmia size is perfect. I have to admit you could feed 2 adults and 2 small children with this easily. I will be using the gourmia just for me and I like the size,t I like to cook more than 1 meal at a time so I have food tomorrow or the next day. I will use this all the time. I don't enjoy wasting time cooking so I don't turn my oven on much but I will be making more food at home now, my food tastes great, cooks fast and it's just easy now. I will use this for everything.

Not compensated for this review. This oven is very well built. Excellent value for the money. Due consideration to materials. Stainless Steel with Awesome Looks. Simple and clear controls. ON/OFF clearly visible. Large. Excellent results in all modes. Clearly visible window for the status. High Power. Perfect Size. Perfect accessories. it is typical to have a manufacturing residues on high quality steel due to manufacturing processes. Clean with warm wet towel ins/and outs. Run for 30 mins super hot and let the air go out. No smell after that. Two suggestions for improvements: (1) The door hinge could be a better so that it still stays strong toward the end of the door swing. Regardless, non-critical to performance. (2) The security tape for shipping could be better so that no residue is left when pulled away. Again, this is non-critical to performance.

I had a small 3qt air fryer that I loved but it just didn't make enough for more than 1 or 2 people. I also had a convection toaster oven and regular 4 slice toaster (because the toaster over took way too long to unevenly toast bread) on my counter, so it's great to have a single appliance that replaced all of those.Overall I'm pleased with this appliance, but it's not perfect.Pros: Cooks evenly and quickly, especially when reheating. Cooks a full 12 inch pizza. Spacious interior. Good looking unit. No power switch like other air fryers, so you have to unplug it to turn off the screen. The dial knob got pretty hot the first few times I used it, but that seems to have settled down.Cons: I don't think this gets gets things as crispy as my smaller old unit when doing air fry. Selecting modes in the middle of the LED screen is a little tedious because the selector doesn't seem to actually move with each click (this applies to changing the temperature too). The shelf spacing is just a little too close together. It takes a lot longer to pre-heat to 400 than my older unit.A couple of comments about previous reviews. I didn't notice the strong smell during the first use like I did with my previous air fryer (which is normal). There was a little bit of a plastic smell, but it went away quickly. As far as the fan coming on afterwards, it appears to do this every time you finish a cooking cycle, maybe to cool off the electronics? Regardless I don't understand the complaints about it "catching fire". Why people are leaving their unit plugged in when they're not using it is beyond me in the first place. That's just a bad idea in general with any appliance that gets hot. Plus that bright blue screen is kinda obnoxious when it's not in cooking mode.

To start out: I'm the proud owner of many an air fryer. Farberware. Bella. Hamilton beach. I used to pound all that deep fried rubbish, but I've come to see the error in my ways!! No more fat, oily foods for me!! So I've been round the block. Looking. Searching. For that “perfect” air fryer. There is a huge selection out there, which sort of threw me off in the beginning. Now, I stick with quality. But till now I was using the small 5 qt models, which are somewhat limited in their function. French fries. Sweet potatoes. A little chicken.Now, this Air fryer totally brings the air fryer concept to the next level. This an exponential leap in air fryer technology!! Oh, the possibilities!! Pizza! Cookies! 4 Pieces of salmon in one run!! Wow! A full roast lying flat. A quick spray of olive oil and I can bake a full dinner for the whole fam. This is exactly what I needed. Literally every form of cooking all wrapped in one. I even get to watch the food baking through the clear glass display - Never had that before!To conclude this is a flawless execution of the air fryer technique. No more oil (I still keep a little spray). But I still get that amazing crisp taste I miss from deep fried foods. Everything I was looking for.As a random aside, I had a nesco dehydration system for drying my fruit and veggies as well as making beef jerky. I hopefully will be switching to this device for my next run.
