This Melissa and Doug toy was one of the best products I have gotten from this brand! The toy is interactive and exciting, and great for children ages 1-7. The pieces are durable and strong which is super practical for small children who are constantly putting the toys in their mouths and throwing them. The set is adorable, and targets practical skills such as shape sorting as well as labeling animal names and sounds. The pieces are easy to clean, and the set is easy to transport since the handle is durable and strong. I purchased this wonderful Toy Barn for a Boy Baby Shower Gift ! Melissa & Doug are renowned for their attention to toy safety, cuteness and age appropriate imaginative play. Once this little boy grows a bit, his Mommy will have just the right toy to easily entertain him as well as teach him about some basic Farm Animals and, all the while, he'll be safe from poisonous paints that other toys might have.
