This is worth the money whether you use it with Instant Pot or not. Very thick and heavy bottom prevents hot spots and evens heat better than most others. Heat resistant handles that really are heat resistant. I use on my gas range as well as in the instant Pot.

Our original pot got dented on the lip after falling off the counter. This pot was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

They are quality made The bottoms are thick & great to saute - I was surprised at the even cooking & incredibly easy cleanup of these pots The handles have rubber coating that has not worn off yet Definitely get a spare pot for your InstaPot & get the silicone lid Get a glass lid for saute

Can not complain at all. I have a 6 quart Instant Pot Pro, and this extra pot is the exact same and fits perfectly. I'm actually surprised how good of quality the pots are (they should be for the price). The downside of course is the price, but if you buy 1 extra, you'll have 2 (which makes cooking and storing a LOT easier). I doubt I'll ever need to replace mine, or buy another. If you're stuck and debating on getting a 2nd pot, like I was, it is worth it in the end. I can now cook 2 separate meals at the same time, instead of eating the same thing for 4 meals straight.

It basically the same inner pot that comes with the purchase of the pressure cooker. I bought a second one becuase I wanted to be able to cook back to back without emptying the firt pot. Sometimes I like to make a stew, and follow it up with rice. I don't want to have to remove the first dish and clean the pot to cook a second.

We just got an Instant Pot Pro 60 when it was ridiculously reduced for Prime Days. I am glad that I ordered a second pot as we have found ourselves rapid firing the pot. This pot is identical to the one that came with the Instant Pot. Its made of good quality thick stainless steel that heats fast and retains heat well. The pot is not sticky and cleans easily with soap and water, or run it through the dishwasher on the pots and pans setting. Capacity is about 5.5 quarts with convenient nearly idiot ex-soldier proof measuring marks on the side. Not an important thing to me but the pots are nice looking.

Nice pot though I was disappointed with the finish inside. It said "This stainless steel cooking pot has a polished surface that allows for easy cleaning." From that I expected a mirror like finish as in my Ninja Foodi. The Ninja pot is a dream to clean unlike the finish on the Instant Pot. Sadly the finish on this is the same as the finish on the pot that came with Instant Pot.

Having an inner pot with handles is a game changer on the new Pro series Instant Pots. You can cook a meal and then quickly, without any chance of burning yourself, lift the pot out and have the Instant Pot available again. Here is where having an extra inner pot comes in handy: prepare a second meal or side while the first one is cooking. Once the first is done, swap pots in seconds and continue. Quality of the inner pot is great, it can be used fully on the range or even in the oven. It is just heavy enough to inspire confidence and appears to be perfectly made. Add a 9" lid (8 quart) for serving or use outside the Instant Pot.
