The product has a past date on it (ordered on the 01/17, date on product 01/12), now is that the expiration date or manufacture date because that is the only date on the product?

Are use this product from my potato salad

I grew up in a former British colony and this salad dressing was part of my childhood. After years of not being able to find Heinz Salad Cream in local U.S. grocery stores I was excited to buy it on Amazon only to find I am more American than British. I now prefer Panera Bread's Fuji Apple and Asian Sesame dressings as well as Newman's Own Thousand Island dressing. This salad cream now seems too sweet, cloying.

I've missed this salad cream. Finally bought these. Come in a squeeze bottle, which is nice. Lovely flavor. I use on salads, but also in Tuna sandwiches. Lovely

I am originally from Scotland, and this was a staple in our house, finding it in the States was not always easy, so it is great to be able to buy it from Amazon, it tastes amazing and is really for Salads, it is great in Tuna Salad and on Sandwiches, but also yummy drizzled on Salad Veggies. I put it on Potatoes too, its so good! - the very best dressing!

Here in Canada, we can only buy the sad little glass bottles of this awesomeness, and it costs a ridiculous amount for said sad little bottle. So, scouring amazon.ca as I was, I found this beauty of a deal. For the equivalent of buying 3 sad wee bottles, I've now got a shed load of salad cream. It's the proper stuff, too, not that rubbish that's "English Style". A+ to ISE Forest & Garden! I will use you again!

A good product for making a quick salad plate: the bottles that I received have the labels upside down from the picture above: this is because they are 'squeezy bottles' making it far easier to measure the amount you pour onto the salad!

For me Heinz Original Salad Cream is a must have for a variety of salads and sandwiches.
