This alligator floaty in particular is my absolute favorite! It’s been a game-changer in keeping my pool clean and free from iguanas and raccoons. They’ve been using it as a toilet, and I’ve had to deal with the unpleasantness of iguana poop. But now, thanks to this floaty, I’ve no more worries! I’ve tried other floaties and floating heads, but they’d fade and stop working after a while. The only downside is that they lose air quickly and can’t seem to find a hole to fix. But hey, I’m willing to keep refilling it rather than having iguanas poop all over my pool!

This life-like alligator did the trick in keeping away the ducks in my swimming pool. It moves across the pool with the wind and appears menacing. Good quality plastic including color. My alligator buddy has been in my pool since March and is doing fine!! Very happy with my purchase. Btw- I first purchased the alligator head and then decided to purchase the big plastic one. Both alligators are doing great!

I’ve been battling ducks for weeks—they kept turning my pool and patio into their hangout spot. Sure, they’re cute, but the mess they leave in and around the pool isn’t. I picked up a gator and a few snakes, and it did the trick. Now when they come by, it’s just a quick flyover, and if they do land, it’s in the grass for a second before they take off again. Very happy with this purchase.

The purpose of this purchase was to keep park ducks out of my swimming pool. For that purpose it works, I've purchased 7 of these over the years. HOWEVER, the air doesn't stay in this inflatable for long. I can't find any "pin hole" that air is seeping out so I'm not sure what the issue is. I eventually toss it out and purchase new ones(keep 2 at a time in pool). They are very realistic, and I've purchased other brands, but they don't scare off the ducks like this one. I'm just getting tired of re-purchasing.

Instructions for the blowup gator, say the product comes with patches for holes. Not only is that a little concerning, but there were no patches in the package! I’m predicting that this very thin skinned blow up product won’t last terribly long in the Florida sun, but it’s possible I will be proven wrong. I hope so. In the meantime, it would be nice if the company sent some patches.

My Grandson Loves it

Excellent colors and printed graphics . Very realistic and definitely a fun item . But I returned it . Advertisement indicates can scare off ducks . Not here in the north (Pennsylvania) , possible in southern states . I don’t think ducks up here are familiar with alligators hence no fear . But this is very cute and fun ad a “toy” or just as a pool float for laughs . See my pic and vid .
