This is the second time I’ve purchased these.I’ve used them for an older down jacket that I wear while working outside in our cold Wisconsin winters. They have saved me from having to ditch this favorite jacket by patching holes and rips. The ones from last year are still holding strong so they are durable. They are very easy to use and very durable. As far as how they look, if the don’t match the color of your jacket you’ll be able to see them but it’s not that bad.I would still use them sparingly on a jacket I wore out socially.

I was hoping the patches would be larger than they actually are, because of the money I spent on them. However, if they perform as well as they say, they are worth it. They are very sticky, but if you aren't very good with fiddly things, taking the backing off of these is no easy feat. I had no problem with it, but they are not designed for easy removal. So far, it has stuck to the jacket, but I have yet to put it through the wash. I will update after washing the jacket in a few hours time. It does have a sort of carbon fiber look about it, and it does mostly match the gloss of the jacket. It's good enough that I won't be worried about it not matching or feathers coming out any more. I will report on the functionality once it is washed, too. Size wise, they are small, the largest maybe being 2 inches oval. But since they are small, they are light. And easy to pack while camping or hiking to repair your down items.

These patches work just fine, and were easy to use, but the assorted sizes means there are many patches that are tiny - about the size of a dime. I'd buy them again, but wanted to warn folks that they are small.

I had high hopes for these patches after reading the reviews. I have a nice jacket that I love and managed to get to close to my griddle while cooking outdoors and melted a hole in it. These patches were the exact color of the jacket which I was very pleased about. Getting the backing off of the patch was a bit more of a chore than it ought to be, and then the fun began, the patch does not adhere well at all. The edges kept coming up. I took a very heavy item and placed it on top and left it overnight. I am not convinced that the edges will remain adhered. I don’t think these work as well as you might expect.
