Really happy with a few modifications
The media could not be loaded. Really happy with this incubator. I spent some time looking for an inexpensive incubator but didn't really see many with reviews regarding the results.Well I put 37 Quail eggs inside this incubator to test it. The egg rotator works easily and there are 5 channels to put water in for humidity. I kept one channel full for the first 14 days which kept it at between 65-70% humidity. Then on day 15 I filled 3 channels which put it up to 75-85% humidity. Surprisingly on day 16 we had 8 hatch which is really early. We are currently on day 18 and another has hatched inside the incubator with hopefully more to come. The only issue with this incubator (like many other cheaper ones) is the temperature setting is really inaccurate. I purchased a small thermometer hydrometer to stick in there and I found if the machine was set to 39.5°C (the max) it was actually around 37.5°C inside the machine. So just stick the thing as high as you can and it'll be fine.Overall really happy so far.

***failed after 2 months***
The media could not be loaded. ***UPDATE***Lasted 2 months, no longer switches on - see video - Don't buy.Firstly, I do understand that this is on the cheaper side of incubator options but definitely not the cheapest.I found getting the temperature correct was a challenge, having the fan blowing on one side did result in one side being warmer than the other and getting the humidity correct was almost impossible - ignore the instructions, you will definitely need a separate humidity sensor and check multiple time a day.On my first hatch, out of 5 fertile eggs I had only 1 successful duckling. All the other eggs failed at various stages and I'm convinced this was down to the heat variation and humidity issue.I've just started my second batch and will be rotating the eggs away from the fan to try and even out the heat and spaying with a plant mister to try and maintain the correct humidity. So, yes it's cheap(ish) but if you're serious about hatching regularly then I'd suggest investing in a model with better heating and automatic humidity control

Excellent incubator
This is something we have been saying for years we should do and finally we took the plunge and did it, picking which incubator is a mind field but opted on this one as turns the eggs, temperature control, only downside no humidity control, so had to buy separately but I improvised, there is no port to add water so you don't have to open the lid, but again got round this with a syringe and small piping, I wasn't expecting being a complete novice to this to get any chick's hatch but I obviously did something right as I got 5 out of the 10, and they are thriving. It did its job and once I've these chick's have gone to the farm will have an attempt at ducks, for the price not a bad bit of kit.

Mind the temperature
Instructions were clear and offered valuable advice and troubleshooting for a poultry hatching newbie, worked absolutely great, and was capable of hatching chickens, however, the temperature was off by about a couple degrees, and there is no way of monitoring humidity, so a 2nd thermometer/hygrometer should be added, plus keeping the incubator in the styrofoam per the instructions for added insulation to correct the issue

So many issues!
We bought this incubator as a last resort as my more expensive one had a delivery day, and my eggs were coming close to not being viable. From the getgo i was very wary of this incubator but read the reviews and thought for now, it will be okay. I was very wrong. This incubator has many faults, the biggest being its temperature control and temperature reading. Taking into consideration the fluctuating room temp, i understood that this could massively impact my temp inside the incubator but even so, the incubator was either dropping in temp rapidly or rising so quickly that the morning i woke up, i had 7 boiled eggs ready for breakfast. Please buy a thermometer that can be placed inside, the built in thermostat is far from accurate.Apart from the temperature, this is okay for beginners but would definitely recommend splashing out abit more money for a nicer one.

We have chicks!
We have five chickens and a cockerel in the garden, and my daughter has been wanting to hatch chicks for a while. So I relented and bought this incubator, partly to humour her.. dads are easy to get things out of!She's 11, she set it up, collected eggs from our chickens, put them in the incubator and told me that in 21 days we would have chicks. And, 21 days later we have chicks!!This is the only incubator we have ever used, so we can't comment on others and how it compares with them but we can say that it is very easy to use, and it actually works. It automatically rolls the eggs - something that I have learned that hens do.And it has a LED light so that you can see into the egg as it is growing, you start seeing things around day 6Yes, I would buy this again.Highly recommended, and a lot of fun.

It is a great incubator.
It is a great incubator, but the seller needs to provide the water dispensary bottle. Its difficult to get a bottle like that with a tube to go underneath.Temperature stays stable. No fluctuation. Chicks hatched.

As soon as you put water in, as per the instructions, you get condensation I the LED display! Not very safe.
