Kuriyama SWU Universal Spanner Wrench, 1 1/2-4 1/2"

Bought these as a backup to my USA made aluminum spanners. These arrived chipped and rusted. They are not perfectly shaped. They are iron I believe, and are made in Taiwan. They do work though so if you don't use this tool to make a living it's not a bad option.

Needed a wrench for 1-1/2" fire hose coupling. This thing fits the bill beautifully. All of the openings, grooves, etc. piqued my curiousity, so I purchased. It is DEFINITELY magnnetic / ferrous so it will rust over time. Whatever. I think I can use the wedge end for chipping ice off of my windshield as well as a tire iron.... maybe flipping bacon on the griddle. I can see how the rectangular opening must be intended for a gas shutoff valve??? Again, I don't know the intended purpose for all of the nooks, crannies, openings, and whatnot of this thing but who wouldn't want one of these if for no other purpose than to leave the neighbors wondering about your sanity?

I do work in the fire protection field and this tool is great

I got this to install and remove hoaes from my 2 inch trash pump. It works great. It fits on the hose and I am able to remove the couplings with ease.
