My experience with this shampoo was a bit....complicated. I have long, naturally curly, color-treated hair. I only wash it every 4-5 days. Come wash day, my hair has a LOT of product to wash out. I generally use a high-quality clarifying shampoo because it’s the only thing that really cuts through everything. But since this was new and I wanted to see just how it performed under my specific circumstances, I used this and only this to wash my hair.First wash, the shampoo just dissolved completely on contact with my scalp. No bubbles, nothing. Weird, I thought. So I dumped some more into my hand, lathered it up a bit and tried again. Much the same result. I went through all the motions and gave my head and hair a good scrub down. But, for the most part, there was zero obvious presence of shampoo or evidence that the shampoo I *knew* was up there was doing anything. So I rinsed and decided to give it one more shot. This time, it behaved like shampoo should — nice lather, the whole nine. Success.The end result was hair that was exceptionally soft and shiny. I blew it out, just to see the full effect of the shampoo. Really great. When I blow dry my hair, I tend to lose most of the body, but after using this shampoo, I was really pleased and surprised to see how much body my hair had. Loved that part.So, if performance is measured by the end result, two big thumbs up from me. This product really does deliver a beautiful result. I love that it’s plant-based and natural. And it smells really lovely, too.But here’s where I struggle: It took me three full washes to get my hair completely clean. At probably a silver dollar-sized amount of product each time, that’s a LOT. I don’t love that I had to wash it that many times in general. And I also don’t think it’s truly cost effective to continue to buy a product that requires me to use that much or wash so many times to get the result I want.I’m kind of conflicted about this. Is it a good-quality product? Yes. For lots of reasons. Is it a good value? Not for me, no.If I my hair were straight naturally, or if I washed it every day, I might well feel differently. It would probably be great as a daily wash product. But that’s not what I need.

Help to my curly healthy hair

The shampoo was not exceptional for me. Initially adding it to my hair felt as though it was prepping my hair for the conditioner and I loved that. However, when I rinsed it out, my hair felt dry as though some oils were stripped from it. The stripping feeling wasn’t as bad as shampoos with Sodium laureth sulfate but I wasn’t pleased with the way my hair felt. I applied my conditioner and realize that I have to leave the conditioner on much longer to regain back moisture and softness to my hair. I couldn’t do a quick hair wash using this shampoo which I was not too pleased with as I had high hopes for it. I think I’ll just stick with my known shampoos that prep my hair for the conditioner by keeping it soft and moisture instead of trying new products.

I tried this shampoo for hair loss. But it works well on my eczema also

This is a fantastic strengthening shampoo by Bogavia. It comes in a fairly plain looking white bottle in my opinion. It is in the mid-price range I think. You will first notice the fragrance of vanilla of this shampoo that is absolutely amazing. I for one really love this one. It makes washing the hair just that much more pleasant.This one has a nice rich lather that works very well. I let it sit in for a little bit to allow all the ingredients to do their work. These are natural ingredients but that doesn’t mean they won’t do anything. So after a few minutes I rinse it out and it rinses out with ease. The hair feels nice and clean. I didn’t add conditioner to see what the shampoo on its own does and found that my hair looked and felt great. There were no issues brushing through it or anything. All in all I am very happy with this shampoo and can only recommend it.
