6.0Ah Replacement Battery Compatible with 20V Battery

Battery only last 13 months and I barely used them in my drill about 20 times and one melted during use

Not part of my profession to need 6Ah batteries but I got a pair of these so I could drill holes for ice fishing with a Dewalt DCD996B Hammer Drill. I'm not one to drill a hundred holes, maybe up to 20 in a day but usually less than that as I have my fishing spots already. Because the batteries are bigger than I'd otherwise need and don't use them often, except weekends in winter, I think I end up charging one of the two about once a month. They do hold a charge well enough. I use a Dewalt brand charger, I believe mine is 4amps so about an hour and a half to charge. Recently I bought a 36v brushless motor and controller to build my own electric ice auger. On the bench, two of these in series works great. Wish me luck for when I get to field testing!

Used in several Dewalt tools for a few months now and have recommended them to several people that use Dewalt 20 Volt cordless. Price and quality are great.

Trying out this brand of extra life batteries. The originals did not last long. We will see how these do. The price was great. That is what made me give them a try.

Well i purchased this and thought what a deal... You know the old saying you get what you pay for? I used my dewalt saw saw with 1 of these batteries today. I have only charged the batteries when it was unboxed. The battery died so i put it on the charger. Ithat was 4 hours ago. I have 3 chargers and all are indicating the battery is charged. The led light on the battery shows 1 green dot. The battery will not charge. Hope they have some sort of warranty. Please let me know Amazon.

The batteries are no where near the quality of dewalt batteries, they only last half as long as a dewalt...

I have over 30 Dewalt 20v tools and use a lot of batteries. I have now charged these 4 times and they hold a charge longer than the actual Dewalt batteries. They do take a little longer to charge than they do but I think this is why they are doing so well. You do need to charge with at least a 4 amp charge (115 or 118) for a reasonable charge time If possible I would like to update this review after I have had them for one year. So far, so good. Very pleased.

These Charged up in the normal amount of time I would expect for a 4 AH battery. They fit the tools perfectly and worked flawlessly. It took days of intermittent use before needing to be recharged. I am satisfied with this set of batteries and would recommend as an inexpensive replacement over the name brand. Now it is 'wait and see' how long they last.
