Look at her in her sassy collar!Seriously though, here is some helpful info:- The collar is pretty sturdy and won't fall apart any time soon.- Since it's not a breakaway, don't put it on outdoor cats that could get caught.- XS does not come with a bell, but sizes small and up do.- The color cracks around the edges after a week or so of basic indoor wear. If you have an outdoor pet, or one who is tougher on his/her belongings, this might not look nice for very long.

I was very pleases when this arrived. Much better than what I hoped for. The leather is real, and the studs look beautiful on it, it feels really sturdy. I bought 2 for my dog so I can double up on it since it's 1 inch, I wanted something thicker for him. He's a chihuahua/pug mix with a 12" neck. The large fit him perfect.

My 13lb dachshund believes that he's the size of a rottweiler. He prefers to play in the big dog side of the dog park rather than with dogs his own size. I ordered this after I watched him gleefully tussle with a 200lb mastiff whose canines were as long as his legs.I bought a black one and a brown one (10-13"). The quality of these collars is phenomenal for the price. He has a 12" neck with lots of loose skin and it fits him comfortably on the center hole of five. The collar is about an inch wide but tapers into a narrower band where it buckles, so the buckle is relatively small and lightweight, yet perfectly secure. The faux leather is sturdy and supple. Unlike the other brand of studded collar I ordered, the studs are securely attached and the back of these studs is smoothly rounded at the edges and flush against the back of the collar, so they don't scratch and irritate his sensitive skin. Overall, the collar is weighty for a small dog but not uncomfortably so for a few hours of wear at the dog park. Fortunately, we've never had it tested by a serious bite; it does the job of making me feel a little better when he roughhouses with 90lb dobermans and it shows no signs of damage from several months of gentle play biting.(These pictures are a few months old. He was severely emaciated when we rescued him; he's since reached his proper weight and is no longer this skinny.)

Arrived on time as expected. Great quality. I bought this for my smaller dog because my larger shepherd constantly grabs/bites his neck. Problem solved!!!

My Chihuahua Min Pin has an 11” neck exactly and this fits perfectly on the tightest hole. However then the strap was sticking out because it was both rolled up that way in the product box but also hitting the spikes, see photos. I cut it and I’m sure it will fray quickly now. Bummer as otherwise love this collar’s color and all the spikes. This is the last line of defense I’m using in my dog’s protection out on walks, since selfish neighbors walk their unfriendly dogs off leash and have no control. Also just noting collar came with two large bells.

This collar is made of quality material. I bought the black in the ~8-10” for my chiweenie. He has a 14” chest girth and the largest part of his neck is just under 10”. I purchased this for purely ornamental/stylish reasons as I use a harness rather than a collar when I take him on walks - I read where using a leash and collar, especially on smaller breeds, leaves room for inadvertent user error and can end up hurting them. Thus, this collar is worn often by Sarge, but it is not put to test of using it with a leash. However, for as frequently as it is worn, it has held up quite well. It hasn’t cracked or split or peeled in the slightest. Since it’s not entirely metal, Sarge doesn’t seem to mind it like he has some pure metal collars in his “wardrobe.” Yes, I am super extra about my dog. #nojudgment

I love look and design of this. It works well for our docile dog. However, we have gone through 3 of these for our ‘active’ dog who like to pull. We have to put them on tie out when we RV. She still tries to chase after other dogs, etc walking by (we do not leave her unattended and are trying to train her). They eventually break off where the buckle is attached. I am having to order a different kind with wider leather at buckle. Hoping this will help.
