This is my second pair of these shoes. But after many years of use, it was time for an upgrade. These ones are new improved model so comfortable and light weight. But very well made still. They are designed to reduce stress on your foot in normal walking conditions.

Very comfortable shoes

I do not have good luck purchasing shoes online, mostly due lack of quality control as to sizing. I wear a size 9W, so ordered and.......they fit perfectly. Sufficient elastic in the side gores to provide stretch, light weight and average comfort. Use a shoe horn to slip on and avoid breaking down the backs. The color is a bit off, but overall I am satisfied.

After my nine year old son had all but destroyed his third (or so) pair of boys' dress shoes in a relatively short time frame, I decided it was time to look for a better quality men's shoe with the hope it would better withstand his abuse. This Nunn Bush brand was available from a local retailer and got good reviews, so I gave them a try, purchasing a men's size 8.5 for my boy. They cost about double of the boy's shoes. These shoes lasted, and still looked pretty good, until my son told me they were getting too tight. He wasn't kidding as he needed a men's 10.5 (at age 12)! He is now almost 15 years old and still wearing the 10.5 pair, and they look almost as good as when new. Granted my son isn't as rough on his shoes as he was when younger, and he may need a larger size again soon, but for them to last through his growth needs has been a great blessing. And he reports that they are comfortable, too. The quality is so much better, the extra cost was well worth it.

They do oversize just a little. Ive been wearing 10.5 ww to 11's in a square toe for decades. Redwing made a 10 EEE square toe that fit. Im wearing a 9.5 extra wide in these shoes and they fit comfortably without excessive heel slip. In terms of style I have found that cognac does not replaces oxblood in terms of masculine warmth. It is a substitute that is brown and not dark brown or black. I would like to see an option for Burgundy or oxblood. In terms of comfort. Unlike smooth insoles, these have raised bumps that take some getting used to. I have found that with modest room to spread my toes I have better grip on the souls of the shoes that feels more connecting to the ground - that quick side step I need to make comes with more control and precision. I will end my review on this note: In terms of footwear, these shoes give me a feeling of being well connected to the surface I am standing on. I wish they were available in Oxblood. This company deals with returns for wrong sizes swiftly, thanks in part to Amazon's ties with Whole Foods - the exchange process was painless. I had my shoes exchanged in two days. I have an extremely hard time finding what i want in my size locally. I dreaded the exchange process thinking this was going to drag out a month. Nope - two days to get my hands on them the first time, two days more to have the right fit. Now lets see how long they last. Im hoping too get at least a year, and maybe two.

Very nice quality and fit. Super light weight. So good I went ahead and ordered another pair while I still can. I'll try to remember to update after a year of wear.

Bought for my son as a gift but were way too small. He usually wears a 12.5 wide and I ordered a 13 wide. He could barely get his foot in so I had to return. Looked very well made and looked good on.

10 Wide super, c'est réellement la grandeur que mon mari porte. Bonnes chaussures, très légères. Le seul bémol, le brun est spécial, mais je suis certaine qu'ils seraient parfait en noir!

I bought this after good experience with another shoe of the same brand. Compare both, this one use thinner material and the appearance do not match the photo on the website unless you apply wax conditioner. To achieve maximum comfort, do consider buy wider in size to insert additional insole.
