Very cool & cheap RGB light for a creative shots.
So I own quite a few of these RGB LED lights that are smartphone size and this is the cheapest and smallest. Itโs much smaller than I thought, which is a good thing - itโs even more portable and even lighter. Now turning it on I realised that itโs much more powerful than I thought, I expected it to be less powerful since itโs much smaller than my other lights, but itโs not at least not massively noticeable. So here are some of the things that I like about the product: - Small & portable. Because itโs so small I almost always have one of these in my camera bag since it doesnโt take up much space at all. - Very bright for the size. - Built in battery. So you donโt have to carry around extra batteries to power the light. I like it a lot no extra bits to think about. Lastโs just over an hour when using if on full brightness. The good thing is it can be charged while using it. - Thereโs a lot of different light effects in so you can use it much more creatively on a movie set or creating an interesting lighting effect on the set. Often youโre limited by the space and time which this light defeats both. Itโs small and very quick and easy to use. - I like that the buttons are bigger than usual which means easy to access and makes changing settings on the light much easier. - Built quality. It feels quite a decent quality light. The metal is very strong and leaves a very professional finish, not also that it makes you feel that you got a good deal on the light and it should cost more. - Colour accuracy. Now I donโt have any scientific equipment to test this apart from my eyes and to my eye the light quality thatโs been produced is very high and Iโm getting nice shots with it. - If itโs not obvious yet, itโs dimmable and colour changeable, not just bi-colour but also RGB so you can get some really nice colours from the light. Iโm using it a lot to light mu YouTube set and get a nice colour backlight or scene. Some of the sides that I donโt like that much: - I wish it was a USB-C charging input, itโs almost 2020 and everything should move from micro usb to USB-C :) - Dimmable from 10%, I wish it went to 0 to 100 but itโs not that big of a dealโฆ In conclusion, is it a good light?! I think it is and for the money and value itโs amazing, you get a lot of light for that price. There are so many creative ways how you can use it and it literally takes less space than a smartphone so no need to worry about having not enough space in your camera bag. Iโve found myself so many times in situations where I ended up using the light, and it opens up another door to how to use the light creatively, if youโre looking for one I definitely recommend.

There's always the right light for the right fight
Anyone whoever has done any kind of picture or cel phone video knows that getting the right light at the right time is a fight. To bright face washes out. Not light enough light features disappear or become frightening. Shadows sometimes can be crazy. LED lights seem to take care of that problem. From warm to cold superbright to super mood lighting. However most the lights are heavy, big, and certainly don't fit on your small gimbal ot phone mount. This new light takes care that. Smaller than a deck of cards lighter than a candy bar and brighter than any small lights display that I own. Mounts to any quarter-inch connection for camera, light, or slide right in the shoe, this is a perfect companion for anyone it does cell phone videos are close up SLR videos.. Look at the pictures you can get an idea this thing is literally fits in your hand screws right to the top of your mount or slides in the shoe has about just over an hour charge depending on the brightness is really a great companion for about any set up. From super dark to bright days this is can give the added light that you need. Use it as a flash, use as a backlight, use it as your front light. Here's my rating. Pros: over 95 LEDs. RGB, OLED readout on the back preset lighting scenes superlight super range from superbright to lowlight coal lighting settings. Comes with shoe adapter and quarter inch screws with wheel locks detailed documentation hot shoe adapter Cons: black on black buttons makes a little hard to read picture icons are small No way to override low power mode

The size of a cellphone and very powerful considering the size!
I'm honestly impressed. I have been curious about having a light like this for a while. I was leaning towards one of those "aperture" lights but they were only Bi-color, and I wanted the flexibility to be able to use the light also as an accent light with the RGB. When I got it in the mail today the all metal construction really was a nice surprise! It is also somewhat heavy which makes it feel much higher quality in the hand. Very robust! I already shot a video that was over 1.5 hours long and at 50% power the light only dropped 2 of the 4 cells. So I think I could have at least gotten 2 hours out of it. Two mounting options, awesome screen on the back, and easy menus and settings make it pretty awesome. My only cons I have would be that the + and - buttons can be a tiny bit slow to add and subtract percentages of power, and the second con(?) would be the light seems to reach mostly full RGB power at about 60ish % and then it may get a click or two brighter when it gets to 80 and 100%. It could be making changes that I don't see though so calling it a "con" seems a bit too extreme. It certainly doesn't stop me from being impressed by the light. At 100% in the Bi-color mode, I struggled to look into the light, so that's a win for me because none of my other lights reach that sort of strength at this size. It's a buy in my book and I'm rating 5 stars.

Great light, very powerful
Ok, so I've been searching and searching for a easy on-the-go POWERFUL LED light that I could use when I am looking to shoot something on the go but not wanting to carry loads of equipment. This little light is my new life saver, I can charge it, on the go in my car thanks to it's USB chargeable port. If I am out and about and just looking to use some on-the-go mood lighting I just pop up this little guy and it gets the job done! Social Media influencer this little light will be your new BFF, the quality of my campaigns are completely changing after getting this Multicolored LED light. Now I haven't even gotten to the included accessories as any content creator will tell you "there's no such thing as too many tripods". This Light comes ready to get mounted just about anywhere, use it on the go or on your desktop, set it up over your DSRL camera or prop it in a corner to set the the mood. Anyway if you have doubts on the usability of this light, don't definitely great if you're looking for a powerful multi-faceted light source that is easy to store on the go.

Awesome tiny light, cool programmed modes, and powerful output!
Love all the modes on this thing! I can set it using HSL, RGB, bi-color, preset color modes, and even some handy modes like lightning effects (three different types), emergency lights (ambulance, police, and fire modes), and a smattering of scenes as well. Try this thing out, it comes in a metal housing with a built in diffuser that works pretty dang well, it's got a few 1/4 20 screw holes, and holds a solid charge. Only thing I'm not fond of is the inability to charge while using the light, but the awesome battery more than makes up for it. Nab one today!

Quality product near equal to premium product at almost half the price
I own a more expensive version of this kind of light and bought this needed backup/supplemental light hoping it would be adequate for my needs while saving me some money. And it definitely is and does exactly that. In fact, this light (with current discount) is almost half the price of my other light and it does pretty much everything my other "premium" light does โ except it doesn't last as long. And that's because it has a smaller battery. But I knew that when I bought it. It also does *not* come with a neat little case like my premium light does, but it easily stores in almost any pocket or backpack you have. It's very portable. As long as you know what you are buying (compare battery sizes, features, accessories, etc), this battery will more than meet your needs. I love my main light, but this one is a more than adequate backup and it appears to be built as well as my premium light and so far functions as well โ while saving me almost 50% of the cost of buying another. Recommended!

I Love this Light!
I never imagined I would use this light as much as I do, but being in lockdown I find I'm filming more intimate scenes. The number of situations I use it is almost endless - fill light for a table-top shot or a close-up, a little rim light or back light on a portrait, etc. I can mount it on my Smallrig or use a flexible mini tripod to wrap it around a pole or light stand. The full range of colour temperatures is the best, and easily accessed. More than anything however, the built quality is outstanding. The metal casing is high quality and gives it heft. My only complaint, as others have pointed out, is that you can't use it while charging. However, since I've yet to run out of battery I will not deduct any stars. This was an excellent investment.

The Thread in the Body is not cut correctly to allow the 1/4" hot shoe mount to attach.
The threads on the Hot Shoe Mount are not able to start into the LED Video Light Body as they are not correctly cut. I am fortunate that I have a 1/4" Tap & Die set so I was able to correct this issue but the average person will not be able to make this modification to correct the problem.
