Digital Thermometer with Indoor, Outdoor Temperature and Daily High and Lows (00424CA), White

This probably the best inside and outside thermometer I have ever used. It is easy to read, clear, small enough to not get in the way, but also accurate and easy to setup and use. Matter of fact, if you want to, you can bu several, and one outside base will broadcast to all the inside units. This way I have one in bathroom, and a few bedrooms, to tell me the room temp, and all ready the same temp outside using the base that is mounted outside on my porch. No internet, no bluetooth, no hassles. I just want to see the temperature, inside an out, and this does it perfectly. I have purchased a few over the years, they are cheap, but I have had a few go up, and have funky displays. But I can buy another one, and just add to the group. So for me, I still love them.

This is the affordable indoor-outdoor thermometer that I've been waiting for. It just works. No wires. No fiddly other options I don't want anyway. Batteries in. Hang the outdoor transmitter in a sane place. Stick the indoor unit on a shelf. Done. I love it.

Just got my AucTite Digital Thermometer. It was so easy to put into a working mode. The instructions were perfect!! I’m 81 and it was a snap. I put the outdoor sensor in a water proof bag and hung it beside my outside back door. As soon as the sensor and display were in perfect communication, it was on! It is easy to read and the accuracy is exact! I always want to know the temperature so this is long overdue!! I wish I’d have done it years ago. I recommend! I love it!!

Generally a good product, does what it is advertised to do. HOWEVER - there is one thing that can cause problems. All of these work on the same frequency, so your display can "connect" to your neighbor's sensor with no warning. This happened to me, and caused significantly erroneous readings. I had to remove the batteries from my sensor before I found that it was still getting a signal from somewhere.

The thermometer seems quite accurate and is easy to install and can be used right away.

I've used these (4 sending units without display) for 10 years. Despite them being for "outdoor" use, you must protect them from precipitation (rain/snow) and direct sunlight. Under an eve would work, but you would need a ladder to change batteries. I used spent powder bottles cut in half over them and one #6 sheet metal screw. They are not calibrated, needed to be adjusted a degree or two (my receiver allows this). Humidity was within 15-20%. These are the only outdoor models that work with my system (except water presence-sensing units). 2 failed on me after a few years for not protecting them well enough from rain. Change batteries once a year to avoid doing so in snow.

It works fine but the display is dark and hard to read at a distance, compared to the older model of the same item that I have.

I’ve had a few other wireless outdoor thermometers over the last 10 years. This is by far the best - was easy to set up, signal seems much stronger so sensor could go in a better place (I bought the “beehive” cover for it). Batteries still going strong after 12 months.

Simple design that sits well. Easy to read digits.

This just works. It was purchased to replace another brand that frequently lost signal and had to be paired again. This one has a longer range and there has been no problem with lost signal. Just insert the batteries, select C or F and it works. The temperature reading agrees with the old unit this one replaced.

Good size and easy to see/read. Would add one more star if it were to have 0.1 accuracy.
