For 15 years I have learned more about people through Goldschneider's book(s) than I have by peering into any other spyglass seeking to understand the differences/foibles of our species. Trust me, I have studied everything, and this genius guy (he memorized 1/2 hour poems at the age of 3 and stood on a box to recite them on the radio) tops them all on a foundational level. It's an understandable, simplified Enneagram/Myers Briggs and more fun. What is our nature when we come into this planet? It's hard for some stubborn types to grasp and accept, but we do have a basic nature and that's just the way it is. Environment is vitally important, of course, but so is understanding our innate character, personality style, patterns of thought and positive and negative attributes. This book is so accurate it scares people. Heck, one guy I was chatting with at Borders, tried to hook up with me because I showed him his birthday and it was so amazingly accurate that he experienced cognitive dissonance. (Strange way to attract someone.... but he had an odd birthday :-) I used this book at a job I had for 10 years where there were hundreds of young people (some seeking deeper level of understanding) and I was one popular employee. "Shaleia, may I borrow your Birthday Book?" was a mantra. In 15 years there have only been two people whose didn't fit their day. Both of those folks were repressed and weren't living their true nature ( apparent for all to see). I have rented rooms to young people for over 20 years and I never accept a border now without reading them their birthday. They then know that I know them better than some of the want to be known. This is one book that should be on your shelf. ( His Relationship Book is really good as well!). Marvel when you get it. We are not so unique after all.

My favorite book for only Thirty something dollars! It's normally sell for fifty in bookstores, but I saw it on here and had to get it. It's loaded with information you never even known about each individual person's birthdates! I showed to a friend a long time ago, (used to borrow from a friend.) he said, "That's a lot of information." He's right! You can lookup a persons birthdate and it'll tell you your strengths and weaknesses, the ruling number, the zodiac symbols and signs and the persons birthstone. It's loaded with a brief paragraphs of people whose birthdays are related to you of past history. The first time I ran into this book was from a neighborhood friend. I borrowed it and loved what I read. It gives a personal understanding of your star sign. A characteristic review of yourself. I always share my book with friends who comes over and they like to read their star sign. Things that are true about you. This is a special book to me. I recommend this to anyone interested to just know. You can read about your relatives, friends, acquaintances and anyone. I like reading my star sign. It's true what they said. I love my ruling number and use it all the time in sets. It's funny how someone could write such a book. A book of truth. This would make a wonderful birthday or christmas gift!

This book is amazing! it often really seems to capture the essential nature and habits of individuals born on a specific day. Every one who has looked themselves up so far has been impressed with the accuracy. We use it as a kind of icebreaker or party game, people love to look themselves up and discuss the accuracy and details. We also find that it is helpful for gaining insight if you are going to introduce someone for a speech To help you get your thoughts together about someone you know. Usually this is a fun and entertaining book but in more serious and sad context It helped me clarify what I needed to say at a memorial service when I was too much in shock to organize my thoughts without help. The profile also provided comfort to the family and made them laugh even in their grief because it was so right on, and his birthday page also had several other people who were also war heroes. One friend Looks up the birthdays of those who apply for employment or want to rent property from him and swears by its accuracy he started doing this after he looked up the day one a relative he had evicted. I plan on buying copies for my children and maybe a new one for myself because we use this one so much it is getting worn out.

This book will change your mind about Astrology. I believe in the scientific method and facts. I analyze data. I cannot explain how this book can provide such a highly detailed summary of a personality simply by looking up their birthdate (including year). I have researched Occult phenomena for over 40 years, but Astrology never held my interest... far too much math involved, and plotting a natal chart seems tedious... although computer programs apparently can spit one out in seconds. Looking up someone's birthdate in this book is not as accurate as a true natal chart (requiring exact time and place of birth), but it is at least 75% accurate. I have looked up dozens of people and it hasn't gotten one wrong yet... and these summaries are like three pages long covering a lot of obscure details and odd personality quirks. It is legitimately spooky how accurate these readings are. You can always find these thick hardcovers dirt cheap. They make great gifts, especially for a teenager expressing an interest in Witchcraft and such. A truly magickal book.

Love this book, everyone I have read up on it nails to a tee

I bought this book years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed sharing it with friends and family. It is very entertaining and downright spooky in how accurately the author has pinpointed the personality traits, lucky numbers, career path and weaknesses in the body. When I first read my birthday horoscope, I thought it was just a lucky shot that he got my personality so accurate but then when I read other family members and found them to be true as well, I wanted more. I, then, bought the book by the same author on relationships. It is great as well. I wouldn't get a divorce if the author doesn't pair the two of you up as being well suited but it is interesting what he has to say. He was right on the money with the relationship for myself and my husband. He said that we are pretty much opposites but when we join forces for a common cause, we are unbeatable which is oh so true. We fight like cats and dogs (and with so much passion)when we disagree but when we join a cause or a battle, we are unstoppable. I had never thought of it like that but AGAIN, so true. These are both excellent books which might just open your eyes as to why your spouse or friend does the things they do that annoy you or understanding yourself better by helping you see some traits in a more positive light. You might even find that you finally understand your child a little better and maybe able to assist them with issues that you never understood. If you get a chance, go to the nearest bookstore, check out these two books and see for yourself, then come back to Amazon and order them at a discounted price. You will see that all these reviews are very true. I am ordering these here again because a friend of mine borrowed them and will not return them. I have also bought these two books (which I consider a set) for my son because he too became so interested in how accurate they are.
