It worked great but in the process to install the cable one the the plastic ends broke

A nightmare to install, but it solved the problem.
I can't find the words to express what a nightmare this cable is to install in an old Jeep. On my 98 model TJ in particular, all of the zippers on the seat upholstery are seized up so removing the covers to do this repair wasn't an option. As a result you have to basically just use the force and work completely blind using feel only. This took a couple of hours total but in the end my tilt and tumble for the passenger side is back to working like new and I'm happy with the end result.

Perfect fit on 99 Wrangler (TJ)
I just got done swapping my seat track release cable this weekend. The fit was perfect, and it took me a lot less time than I initially anticipated. The price was great, and it arrived quickly in great condition.I followed a walkthrough online. Just search for "4x4explor seattrack" and you should find it. You'll need a T-50 and T-45 trex bit for the seat and seatbelt clip respectively. Be careful running the new cable. There are some sharp edges underneath there and you can easily cut yourself.

Works great.
Took seat out (4 bolts) and installed new wire in about 10 minutes. Seat bolted back in and works fantastic. Seat will now slide and fold forward with ease.

Restored the tilt forward ability in my passenger seat.
Perfect replacement for mopar 04886308AA. This cable allows your passenger seat to tip up toward the dash for extra room to get into the back seat. If its broke, the seat will only slide forward. I normally buy mopar parts but needed this repaired before my Jeep trip. It was shipped fast at a low cost. I installed the cable and it worked great.
