Review: Nice conception for over done genre... - I've been on a street photography bend lately, buying many books. Check my profile for other recent reviews to contrast this book with others in the genre. I think this title succeeds on several levels. Compared to other books, there is more original content in this one, mostly because the author sought out photographers other than the "usual suspects" that appear in most every street photography tome out there. This was great for me to not have to wade through photos that I have seen dozens of times before in other books. Another great idea from the author was to give each photographer several images (half a dozen) based on the shooter's perceived expertise. Each chapter starts with "Master of...." and then a narrative to complete that phrase, such as complexity, or atmosphere, or expression. There are sixteen such chapters and while I enjoyed some over others, none were out of place in the book based on the title. For whatever rhetoric people give about gear versus results, a lot of photographers are gearheads, I admit I am. Others like me will like that at the end of each section, the photos are reproduced in a smaller scale with full technical info, camera, lens, exposure, etc. Each photographer also does a short Q&A on their process. The book physically is very nice, hard cover with a ribbon book mark. The photos are reproduced very nicely, both the color and B&W. At the end of the book is a photo of each photographer along with links for their social media. Bottom line, at 10 Dollars off the cover price here at desertcart, this is one of my best photo book purchases in a long time. If you like street photography, get it. Review: Great Street Photography Reference Book! - This is a great book for anyone interested in street photography with the various street photographers it highlights, they questions they answer, a collection of their photographs with their camera settings for each. Unfortunately there is a 1 star review from a poorly informed individual that was "disturbed" by a holy day procession where they were garbed in clothes the reviewer called "KKK". It is a shame the reviewed did not do proper research and understand these are members of The Hooded Penitents of Italy that was established during the 12th century. These men and women hide their identities, both for purposes of hiding their sinfulness and providing anonymity for their charitable works when the march during these holy day ceremonies in Italy.

Beautiful & Informative
I think people interested in street photography, regardless of experience level, will find this beautifully done book an invaluable addition to their library (and an indispensable tool for their own development). The book presents work by 16 different "master" photographers, in a very well organized and accessible form. One chapter is dedicated to each photographer and includes: Photos, a brief background on the artist, a Q & A section and a technical information recap that provides the nuts and bolts for the equipment used and the various camera settings. The book should be especially helpful to those just starting out in this genre because, you'll get a great understanding about how 16 different photographers approach their art.

Damage in the corners
Delivery time was earlier than i expected. The book was damaged in the corners but not so bad, the packaging must be more appropriate. The book itself is wonderful, anyone who is interested in street photography must own this book.

Racist Picture!!! Don’t Buy!!!
I can NOT believe there is a picture of people dressed in KKK attire in this book. The artist tries to say costumes. I thought this would be a beautiful coffee table book and I threw it away and I will never by anything from this company again. How could anyone ever sale something like that!! Very disappointed!!!!!

Molto carino e ancora attuale.

Pretty average
Print quality isn't great and sadly my copy was damaged in delivery. The good thing is camera settings used to take those pictures are shared in this book.
