Hoover Genuine T-Series Exhaust HEPA Filter

Worked perfectly

Exact replacement and felt and heard it snap into placewhen I installed it. Has not popped out like the originalbegan doing after a few years of use. I used the vac topick up drywall dust in the house and even blew thefilter out with compressed air at 30psi so as not to destroythe paper of the filter. However, after doing that several timesa small strip of paper eventually tore out. As the filter hadpopped out a few times while in use I decided it was time fora new one. Am pleased so far but have only used the vacuum3 times since I bought it. Fast shipping by the USPS andarrived in perfect condition. UPDATE: Used the vac with the filter installed and it workedgreat/ However, a few days later I used the vac again and thefilter kept popping out. When installed it snapped into place butnot like the first time with the loud click. I tried it again and the filterkept popping out. After a half a dozen times of trying to get thefilter to stay in I put masking tape around the front to the sides ofthe vac. It stayed in place with the tape but should be a tighter fitand better engineered to work properly. Item should be discountedfor not working the way the original filter did. Am thinking of doinga modification myself as I reengineer many things these days thatdo not work properly. Quality use to be great years ago but it seemsthe schools these days are not turning out engineers that can usewhat lies between their ears!

I previously bought a different brand that was too loose and constantly fell out of place. This one is worth the few extra bucks. It snapped nicely into place.

The filter housing doesn't stay in place and slips out with normal vacuum use. A small piece of cellophane tape keeps it fully inserted, so the product loses a star over this issue.

Snapped right in like the original. Suction is the same as well.

This was a great quick fix for our vacuum which needed a new filter badly. It did the job and actually fit in which was a huge worry, however it doesn’t seal perfectly. The suction does suffer a little due to that and then occasionally it falls out. Not a huge issue but one to note.
