Wasn't hard to install, but getting everything to fit behind the head unit was a challenge...just take your time and make sure everything is connected properly and working before you bolt the head unit back up. Works great for adding an amp to the stock head unit...Make sure you get an amp wiring kit and about 20 ft of 9 conductor "speed " wire.

You will need to wire in all of your speakers if you use this. It isolates your factory radio from the speakers. That’s fine because the system is 100 times better in the Tundra with 3 new amplifiers, 6 new speakers and 2 10” dual voice coil subs. Very challenging install but the benefits are well worth it if you’re a music junkie like me. Turn the converter dials almost all the way up or your subs won’t have much boom. Adjust the amps and you’ll be blown away! Sound quality is like being in the studio and I’m using the factory head unit, which I like. Bluetooth is flawless

The connectors are too small, can’t plug into the back of head unit on 2019 tacoma

This harness works well with one exception. The length of the wire to the line-out converter is just too short. In order to get your head unit back in all the way, you need to solder on 6-8 inches of additional wire so that the line-out converter can be moved from behind the head unit. I tried multiple times to get the head unit back on fully but couldn't until I lengthened those wires. Once that's done the head unit will slide back into place without a big hassle.

First of all I like that it is plug and Play. Wiring seams of good quality. I would buy again.

Does exactly what is advertised. Will allow you to add a 4 channel amp , to your stock head unit. Plug and play no cutting or splicing. Works very well!
