These sauces are fantastic. The Verde sauce has a really good flavor and a nice spicy kick. The rojo sauce has a slightly tastier flavor and the same nice spicy kick. The barbacoa sauce has a rich smoky taste, with a slightly less spicy kick. It is now one of my favorite hot sauces. I highly recommend buying theses sauces. I'll be buying them again for sure.

They say it’s in the middle-of-the-road of heat and flavor (which it is), but it’s the peak of flavor-meets-spice! We’re talking sweet and mild with a nice lingering heat! The texture is smooth and not too smokey. This is your daily hot sauce that makes pepper heads turn their heads to shamelessly look at the bottle across the street. My only gripe is that the best deal is on a 3 pack, but TOTALLY WORTH IT once you taste it. It’s the kind of awesome heat and sweet that make you wonder: “Have I been wrong my entire life? Have I unlocked the secrets of the universe by simply having this delicious hot sauce?” The answer to both is ‘Yes,’ but not in a way that makes you feel bad. It’s the warm hug your food needed on those emotionally cold days. It’s the spice that truly nice with a welcome bite back. It’s the “everything is going to be okay” to the bland food your just-starting-to-use-veggies-in-everything recipes you haven’t perfected yet. It’s seriously ‘the one,’ and you can totally have it. Forget how popular this sauce is because of Hot Ones. If you like something sweet, smokey with a small amount of kick to put on breakfast tacos, taquitos, burritos, you'll be in love. If you care about the brand you'll buy this somewhere else, $18.95 for 5 fl oz is a war crime, it's just not worth the $6.95 markup.

Seriously, I see people upset over not being able to purchase just one bottle of this sauce and I'm wondering when I can buy it in gallon-sized! I go through this hot sauce like it's water! IT IS THAT GOOD!I subscribed to the Hot Ones monthly service for about a year or so and discovered this HEAVENLY sauce through that service. To date, I don't think I've ever purchased another hot sauce as often as Los Calientes. Amazon tells me I've purchased the 3 pack THIRTY times as of 3/3/2022. It is so beautifully balanced and has just enough heat in it to tickle your tongue and lips for a good 5-10 minutes after you're done eating. And that is a lovely feeling. It's not too hot, it's not too mild. It doesn't have that stereotypical one-note 'hot sauce' flavor that turned me off to hot sauces over the years. I could, and have used this sauce on pretty much any food dish out there.If you're looking for a rather unique hot sauce flavor that is, in my opinion, perfectly balanced, please try Los Calientes today! I recommend it to all of my friends.

added some of this to the batch of pulled chicken I made and loved the flavor. more than i usually spend on a bottle of sauce for this size but great for certain occassions.

Absolutely great flavor for a hot sauce. That being said, not hot. Tasty on a chicken wrap or fajita, even tacos. Tabasco hot sauce is way hotter. Cost wise, I used over half a bottle on a chicken wrap sandwich with little heat from the sauce. 5oz per bottle, is it worth it? Flavor a 10, value a 1. I bought 3, that's one per sandwich @$13.50 per bottle total cost was $40 for three. Definitely try it out if you can afford it but it won't last long. I'm a big fan of the show but the cost needs to come down.
