Bach Original Flower Remedies, Elm - Be Efficient - Natural Homeopathic Flower Essence for Emotional Balance - Vegan, Gluten Free, Sugar Free - 20mL Dropper

I just rediscovered the Bach's Flower Remedies, having used them many years ago for various reasons. I'm now lucky enough to be entering perimenopause, and what a joy that is! I'm desperate to find any relief from the roller coaster ride of hormonal chaos that I'm now subject to, so I've added this to my arsenal of products I'm trying. Is it working? I like to think so. It could be the high alcohol content, but I put a few drops in a glass of water and can't taste a thing. As long as I get some relief, placebo or otherwise, I'll keep using it.

Pros: I first started using Elm 4 myself not just for getting off Western meds & their side effects & toxicity, I now use this for my almost 5 lb Yorkie rescue. He was used as a stud dog & in a crate 4 all of his 8 years never having touched the ground. Admittedly the breeder told me all this before giving him 2 me, albeit an expensive/useful little boy 4 her breeding program. He was also in a diaper which she further announced she was unable to change it often b/c of her schedule. She also was a groomer, a situation I find often w/this breed. Given this is Bach Flower Essence works 4 humans, I just found a great book on Amazon entitled & BACH FLOWER ESSENCES FOR ANIMALS & PETS, which I highly recommend for all humans as well. I'm going 2 quote from the book w/my own interpretations as I have learned from my own experience, not in exact order from book: "Elm is for SOLACE" Elm is a good remedy for animals (&plants, humans & all vibrating beings.) that seem OVERWHELMED by showing, traveling, grooming, nail clipping, other animals/dogs/children/people, being an unfamiliar place, being caged (crated) or tied up. Puppies that panic when first put on leash. Elm helps bitches (human as well) that seem unable to cope w/motherhood, Dogs that can't seem to cope with a new home (ALL rescues whether rehomed by original owners, or/ and especially those from shelters). Dogs that are overwhelmed by illness or STRESS. Dogs that develop the same ailments as their owners. Elms is for bitches (humans too) when whelping 2 regularize CONTRACTIONS. My new boy had been confined all his life w/major seemingly unfathomable health/behavior issues: constant scratching, a behavior I diagnosed as his coping behavior 4 his imprisonment. He scratched until bleeding as I've said in other posts, his skin flaked and was oily @ same time. Took him 2 standard DVMs (4 actually) who gave him shots 4 itching, antibiotics 4 supposed infections, prednisone (ncorrectly) 2 stop itching, blah blah blah. He wasn't getting any better. He had trouble eating w/past diet which I changed immediately, & when that didn't work, prepared a raw diet simply in meat/bones/organs/fruits/veggies in season in food processor which not only helped his scratching skin but he was able 2 eat more & gain his appreciation 4 eating, thriving. That's simply common sense, & easy 2 do putting extra in freezer & giving eventually 2 all dogs/cats/bunnies (tho B careful w/animals who R herbivores) here in rescue. that was just step one. As some issues were resolved immediately, esp GI probs, the skin issue proved more challenging. Enter Bach Flower Essence Elm. While his oily flaky skin/coat is not 100% resolved, we R on our way. There R other remedies created by Dr. Bach we use, Elm was a starter...again, not just for this incredible dog, but for me while detoxifying my own bodymindspirit. If you or your fave animal/plant (ANY living being) has long term trauma or seems 2 B nearing death w/stress/pain, my bet is on Elm. It's not a quick fix, like western trained docs/DVMs use, it's a "watch & see" how progress is going vibrational, 100% natural, UNTOXIC healing & loving gift 2 you or ur animals' souls which is out of balance. Think it's too expensive? NOT! U can use in a spray bottle w/water (get cheaper larger bottles) 4 u and ur BFFs, put in food, daily water supply, spray on bed, & or place on nose (easier 4 puppies), or put directly in side of mouth. I'd start small if u use the bigger bottles which contain alcohol & use intuition 2 C if being can handle. I put it in tiny Yorkie's food, & he's loving it. He's not going 2 get drunk on that tiny amt of brandy (medium used 4 retention of value of flower). better yet, get the book & use your own intuition regarding whatever issues Ur animal presents. It's no different from your own issues, of hopefully u r aware. Good luck. It's a process, it's a learning curve just like life itself!
