Safavieh Home Monroe Glam Grey Velvet and Brass Chaise Lounge Chair

I eyed this chaise lounge for six months before finally pulling the trigger. The cons are obvious: especially for a studio apartment like mine, this piece obviously is for one person only and takes up a lot of space. But what better way to reward yourself at the end of a long day than by relaxing in something clearly designed to be relaxing? I am an Amazon Prime member, and it took a matter of days (less than 5) for it to be delivered. When I opened the box and removed the clear plastic wrap, I saw immediately how beautiful the fabric and color is. Assembly took a little more than 1/2 an hour. The instructions were missing but I googled them and found them easily, printed them out, and proceeded to assemble the piece. It really is very comfortable. After 2020, it is the first truly extravagant item I have purchased and I'm so glad I did. Again, perhaps not ideal for small spaces.

I loved this chaise at first, until after one month. The seams are coming apart already! Highly overpriced for the quality. I have been trying to send it back but I cannot find a box big enough since I assumed at first it was a keeper. Other than that it looks stylish and is comfortable for brief sits.

It looks bougie AF. Not too hard to assemble with two people.

This is a great chair!

Haven’t had this product for 6 months and it has already broken. The legs have bent and I guess I am just going to be out of $500 as the return/replacement date has passed. I received a response from the seller indicating the 30 day return policy has expired and there is nothing they can do. Be very careful and exercise caution when purchasing from Pacific Rug and Home.

I received my chair 2 days earlier than expected and the color is very pretty. Other than that, I cannot really say any thing more positive. I had no issues with the assembly except that I ended up with a metal splinter from one of the smaller bolts - a flaw in manufacturing left a metal shaving attached to the screw head. And the fact that Amazon description under “Is Assembly Required”, it states NO. I did not see the metal piece until it pushed into my thumb. I am sad that I paid almost $500 for a chaise that is anything but comfortable. The padding is so firm it is like sitting on a lawn chair. I expected to feel relaxed in the chaise however, it makes my back hurt and my feel fall asleep. I tried sitting higher up or lower down in the chair and it does not seem to matter. The curves of the chair are awkward. I waited and researched so many chaise online and tried several in stores way before our shelter in place order happened. The reviews seemed genuine and the available ratings are high. I am SO disappointed with this chair. I am going to see if the chair can be returned an my money refunded.
