Good book for new dog owners who want to use crates. Good for any dog owner who hasn’t used crates before or had a bad experience.

There are so many typos in this book it’s hard to read. Get a proofreader. The information seems solid, common sense info but all the errors are distracting.

We are a family of dog lovers and we really enjoy taking care of dogs. I myself like training dogs, but since I have to work the whole week I am not able to train my dogs full time. This book gave me the idea on how to start training puppies during the weekends. The two-stage process on crate training puppies are really helpful and it is what I liked best in this book. I am looking forward to do this tip I learned this weekend.This book gave me all of the information I needed to begin crate training our puppies. I was able to learn the basics, the types of crates appropriate for the puppies etc. What I liked most about this book aside from what I learned is how the book is written. It is well-organized and written in a friendly tone which made it easy-to-read and understand. Good book and I recommend it to all dog lovers especially those who have puppies and are wanting to give them a crate training.

Our pup has not yet made its way home but I’m doing lots of researching hoping to prepare us. This book was very informative no beating around the bush a quick and easy read.

While I did learn a couple of things reading the book, overall it was very surface-level info that lacked a lot of education. Additionally, it was full of typos!

We intended to fly on a trip, but our puppy outgrew the total weight of dog + carrier. We decided to drive this summer, without a crate. Will pass this book along to someone who adopts a puppy, but plans on staying in one location. Thanks.

This book provides a lot of information on how to properly train a dog to be comfortable in a crate. It's interesting because my family would crate our dog anytime she did something wrong. She ended up enjoying sleep inside the crate, but I can see how the dog could begin to associate the crate to no being a safe place if the go there when they are punished. Our dog was smart and didn't soil I see the crate much as a puppy. The issue was more around the house. The cool thing is the specific weekend training that the author goes into. I don't have a puppy right now that requires any crate training by I am interested in getting one myself once I establish my own place and this book is preparing me for that reality. I can see this being super helpful especially during a dogs teething phase. Awesome for those obviously wanting to teach their dogs a proper way of crate training, which I now see can be very useful for both parties

This was not what I was expecting. Very short and not detailed enough and had quite obvious mistakes and typos throughout. Not enough information to be helpful for a new puppy owner.

Well written quick guide with some great info on crate training. I can’t wait to try these tips on my dog

More of an article than a book. Very disappointing as same info is included as a chapter in general puppy books. Don’t waste your money!
