Works perfect with a little trick
Works perfectly for what I need which is measuring 50 mg of powder. One of the reviewers noted that if you start from zero and add just a little bit of weight or add weight too slowly it can float back down to zero, but if you put some significant weight on it you can then add slowly and it won't go back to zero. So to accomplish this I just always turn it on and once it reads zero and put the little black bowl that comes with it on the scale and then it always reads 5.030 grams and it's pretty darn consistent every time I put the bowl on down to a couple of milligrams without having to calibrate it ever. Then I just had my 50 g of powder till it reads 5.080 and I'm good to go. I feel very confident in the accuracy and repeatability and it just takes that little bit of a jimmy rig trick but it works great for a simple task like that which is exactly what I needed for a good low price. The reviewer said if you put the bowl or some other weight on and then press tare you still running to the same problem of drifting back down to zero, so you have to start from zero then put the bowl on then just do the math from there. I haven't tested this of whether or not it will float back down to zero, I just took their word for it and it works perfectly by using the method I described and which the reviewer noted.

So impressed with the new scale!
I've been needing a precise scale like this for a while, and the 0.001g accuracy, along with the included calibration weight, makes it truly top-notch. It's exactly what I was hoping for in a compact "black powder scale" for my reloading projects. You always manage to find the most thoughtful and useful things!

Excellent Scale, Very VERY Dim OrangeCharsOnBlackBackground Display (inside use only)
Easy to use. Built-in hinged clear plastic windscreen protection for weighing platter (but cheap plastic which I think cover and/or hinges will likely break in near future).I've had this for 6 months. No probs EXCEPT for VERY VERY dim display, regardless whether or not on 2 new 1.6VDC AAA cells or USB-C +5VDC power cord. So far, unit has never lost calibration. Buttons and USB port are all working fine.Observations: The 2x20g calib weights less than or equal to within +/- 0.001g of each other (also weighed on pro lab scale and compared to other brand "20g" weights. I'm surprised these weights are so precise. Almost always each shows 20.000g when placed on platter even without first using "Tare"; even other brands' weights are precision)CON: Significant. When running on USB port power, unit does not pull enough current to keep 5 of 6 of my powerbanks "On" when I'm using one of them instead of the 2xAAA cells. The powerbanks auto-shutoff like they are designed to do when device current draw is really low. Suggestion: digital scale power input COULD be designed to increase current drain on the USB port to keep powerbanks from disabling themselves, yet without increasing current drain when on AAA battery power. That would solve powerbank "problem" without negatively affecting battery life.

Accurate and stable enough for the price. Recommended.
Needed a scale that weighed down to the 0.001.. I compared various models on here for hours and was unsure of which to purchase. Finally got this one and I am very happy with it so far. It is very accurate and stable, just make sure you are on a solid, level surface and there is no movement or vibration while weighing. Even the ceiling fan or AC draft can cause fluctuations in the weight. Electronics can also interfere with it since it is a very sensitive tool used for measurement in very small volumes. It looks like it does it the photo. It comes with some jeweler tools, and it can be powered by batteries or by the included USB cable. For the price, this is the one you want to buy.

Excellent product!
Scale accuracy is just a tiny bit off but for the most part it is a great product and it comes with many accessories. Would recommend and so worth the money.
