Years before the White Base landed on Earth, the seeds of war were planted in a space colony called Side-3. Here the Munzo Empire's great philosopher Chairman Zeon Deikun would prepare a declaration before an assembly of senators, but before finishing his speech would fall victim to a sudden attack on the parliament's dais. Almost instantly, on the streets, the masses have risen calling for independence and have set protests in front of Earth Federation headquarters on Side-3. The calls for Earthnoids to return to their planet eventually would push the Federation to take up arms hoping to combat these riots. The hostilities pit men versus tanks on the streets of this colony and appear to not be letting up. Meanwhile, Deikun's family, including his children Artesia and Casval, are soon taken into hiding by a Zeon loyalist—Ramba Ral. Buy this series, there is not much more I can say. Beautiful hardcovers with just top notch story telling and art. Review: This is where things get really interesting - Once again the physical volume is the same level of quality as the previous ones. Great hardcovers, high quality glossy paper with some great colored pages, near 500 pages of content. This is where the story gets really interesting though. This is where the story starts to go in to before untold backstory of the Universal Century continuity. This volume shows the creation of the Principality of Zeon, the Zabi family's rise to power, the very beginning of the mobile suit development program, the political situation that lead up to the One Year War and the origin of the identities of Char Azanable and Sayla Mass. There is a lot of really interesting material in this volume, more than before, even. The bonus content at the end of the book has some text notes by Yasuhiko Yoshikazu and a bonus comic by Koji Kumeta. It's pretty alright bonus content. So overall, if you're a fan you need to buy this and if you aren't yet you should be either way. 10/10 manga of the year all years. Please support Vertical Inc. because they do great work and maybe one day we'll get other Gundam mangas from them.

Where the Origin truly begins!
Volumes 5 of the fantastic rework of the original 1979 anime deviates to bring more back story on arguably every ones favorite character in the original series, Char! Buy this series, there is not much more I can say. Beautiful hardcovers with just top notch story telling and art.

Once again the physical volume is the same level of quality as the previous ones. Great hardcovers, high quality glossy paper with some great colored pages, near 500 pages of content. This is where the story gets really interesting though. This is where the story starts to go in to before untold backstory of the Universal Century continuity. Grate quality book
Amazing story and art I love the quality of this book it has some weight to it. And the paper used is like something from a magazine it doesn’t feel like your reading a manga

Die Hintergründe von Char, Politik und Intrige im U.C., Drama und (fast) keine Mobile Suits
Wie wurde aus dem Politikersohn Casval Rem Deikun der legendäre Char Aznable? Diese Frage wird hier mit wunderschönen Zeichnungen und einem spannenden Narrativ beantwortet. Viele bekannte Gundam-Figuren aus den Kolonien bekommen mit diesem Band eindeutige Charakterzeichnungen und werden dreidimensionale Charaktere. Dieser Band von Origin zeigt deutlich, wieso das Franchise bis heute relevant ist. Durch den sparsamen Einsatz von Mobile Suits und Actionszenen wird die Essenz von Gundam als Charakterstück und politischem Drama sichtbar gemacht. Für den Einstieg in das Gundam Universium ist Origin perfekt geeignet und Band 5 stellt das bisher beste Teilstück dieser Neuauflage dar.

sorprendente calidad.
Lo pille en una oferta. Me gusto(fascino!): -paginas a color. -pasta dura. -material de las hojas. Fuera de la oferta de los tomos que compre, los demás tomos están algo caros.....pero lo valen completamente. Colección obligada para mi.
