Use this and MUSTELA and you will have a happy baby!
I hardly ever write reviews, but I just had to because... This moisturizing cream is THE BEST of both worlds - sinks in better than a typical LOTION, but doesn't leave as much sticky residue as an OIL.My baby (under age 1) has had dry skin with red patches on her ears, legs, under her elbows, knees, and anywhere drool is left behind. She was constantly itchy and scratched herself to the point of bleeding sometimes.I was hesitant to buy a product that wasn't 100% organic with all natural ingredients, however, I went down a long road before I came to this one and I want to save you the time and energy I wasted.First, I tried Honest Company's bath wash and lotion. Fail.Second, I tried a combination of Honest Company's bath wash, Vanicream and Aquaphor. Helped a bit, but stopped working after a few months.Third, I went all natural and bought Badger Baby Balm, Badger Oil and Babo Miracle Cream. (Badger is mostly olive oil.) I really wanted to love all three products, esp. the Babo but I agreed with the reviewers that said the smell turned them off. I would have stuck with them if they had worked because I love the ingredients and EWG (Environmental Working Group) ratings, but they just did not work. Finally, I bought Mustela's Cream Wash and Moisturizing Cream!!!*Note: I also bought Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Bath (oatmeal bath packets).Hers is my winning combination:(1) Mustela Cream Wash in separate tub/sink(2) Aveeno oatmeal bath in her baby tub(3) Angel Baby Oil (from Earth Mama Angel Baby, just for an added all natural element, to get the calendula in there, and to help her scalp. It contains: grape seed oil, jojoba oil, and organic calendula)(4) Mustela Moisturizing Cream after the bath and everyday all overI didn't believe the other reviewers, but after JUST ONE BATH we saw an improvement! It has been 3 days now and her red patches are almost all gone.Don't make my mistake in thinking all natural is always the best. I realized sometimes we need medications and those are synthetic. My baby's skin was so sensitive she needed "medication" for it and Mustela worked for her!! I've been agonizing for 10 months...Couldn't be happier!!

Great addition to our toddler's "ECZEMA TOOLKIT"
This oatmeal bath is a great addition to our "eczema toolkit":• Aveeno oatmeal bath (as needed during flare-ups)• Aveeno eczema cream (used daily — for our child, the lotion is too thin, the cream is the only one that actually moisturizes (it's thicker than the lotion))• Aquaphor (our #1 best product for eczema)• Bacitracin and Hydrocortisone used sparingly as needed on really bad spotsMy 3-year-old has had sensitive skin and eczema since birth — it tends to flare up every few months and then goes down to just a few spots. During those flare-ups, it seems there is no chance of really getting rid of the eczema, we're just trying to contain it and minimize the redness/itching/discomfort as much as possible. We have found a little selection of products that work really well for us (through doctor and dermatologist visits and our own trial and error).I love that with this oatmeal bath, we've found another way of helping to calm down the eczema (can't have enough options!), especially since baths by themselves can sometimes worsen eczema by drying out the skin too much — this mix counters the drying effect. We use the oatmeal bath as needed, usually during flare-ups. My 3-year-old is actually excited about these baths and loves to help pour in the mix. The mix makes the bath water murky and leaves a fine film of oatmeal dust on the skin, which continues to help calm the eczema even after the bath is done. Our child stays in the bath for 15-20 minutes — however, even during the first year when bath times were short, we noticed a healing effect even when the bath was only 5 minutes long. The trick is to not towel dry to hard after the bath, and maybe even skip putting on any lotion or cream so the oatmeal can continue to calm and soothe (this works for us). Wholeheartedly recommend!

Incredible result for baby acne/dry skin
My son had a bad case of baby acne that turned into scaly, flaky skin all over his face. It looked really uncomfortable. I tried a few different moisturizers and had the best results with Mustela Stelatopia, but his skin was still a bit bumpy and dry. On an acquaintance's recommendation, I had ordered this product to try on my baby's diaper rash, and I figured it was worth a try on his face as well. The product is ground/powdered, so I mixed some of it with a bit of water to make a paste, and I spread that all over my son's face and scalp. The rest I sprinkled into his bath. I let the paste sit on his head while I bathed the rest of his body, then wiped it off with a washcloth and clean water. I followed his bath with more Stelatopia cream. The result was incredible. You seriously would not ever know his skin had been problematic. It is smooth, clear and beautiful, with no more flaking or bumps at all! Honestly, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.Just the sprinkle in the tub soothed his very mild diaper rash, but you can also make a paste and spread it on diaper rash about 15 minutes before the bath to let it go to work. It's worth a try especially if you cloth diaper, since most of the more intense diaper rash creams are not cloth-safe; this might help you avoid having to use them.I can't believe I didn't know this existed when my daughter was an infant; I think it would have been wonderful for her cradle cap and diaper rash. This will be a bathtime staple for us from now on.
