I don't know where to start but my 3 1/2 year old has been wanting a Baby Yoda toy for a long time after seeing ads for it on TV. I don't blame her because I find Baby Yoda adorable myself. I kept on asking her "what do you want for Christmas"? She yelled "Baby Yoda". We went to Costco once to shop and there was a Baby Yoda backpack (we did not buy it) and she stopped to stare at it for a long time because she was admiring its cuteness. I knew nothing about Baby Yoda because I am not a Star Wars fan and not into sci-fi but I started knowing who he was because my friends always post funny memes featuring Baby Yoda on social media. Fast forward to Christmas morning...when my daughter opened her present, she was screaming with joy yelling "BABY YODA"! It was like she was on Cloud 9. As a parent, I feel proud of myself for picking out the PERFECT Christmas present that she actually wanted (patting myself) on the back :). She is always carrying it, playing with it and takes it to bed with her. She is very fond of babies and I don't blame her. The toy itself is of excellent quality! The body and the outfit is soft yet durable and the head is very durable. Overall, the workmanship of this toy deserves an A +. I posted a pic on Facebook of my daughter (The Mandalorian lol) holding Baby Yoda and a couple of my friends asked me for the link to purchase this very toy. I know I am a 44 year old guy but whenever my daughter is not around for a long time and I miss her, I take Baby Yoda with me to our bedroom, lie on the bed and watch TV together lol If you are a Star Wars fan or your kid and yes even you grownups love Baby Yoda, this is a MUST HAVE! This is a must have for all sci-fi enthusiasts. Definitely add this doll to your collection! I am even planning on getting the Baby Yoda Funko Pop real soon for my daughter and one for myself so I don't have to open mine.

The Child is the most adorable thing on this planet, or any other. This version does not disappoint. His body is cuddly soft and the molded plastic head and hands let him have the "right" look. (As sweet as an all cuddly version is, their faces just can't beat one that's molded after the real thing.) If you were a child of the 80s, think of it as a Koosa (the animal adoptees that came out from the Cabbage Patch kid makers after the doll craze calmed a bit); you don't want to clunk yourself in the face with Baby Yoda's head, but it's not going to kill you if it accidentally happens. I've seen a number of people that have taken off this toy's gunny sack outfit and put him in preemie outfits. His gunny sack is fine with me - it looks just like his outfit worn on The Mandalorian. It also comes down long enough that it hides that he doesn't have legs or feet (his body is shaped in so that his trunk is flat and he can stand upright). I love him and you will, too. Also, he arrived about three days after he was ordered, which was amazing because he's been sold out every other place I looked. This may have been a timing anomaly, but it was a delightful surprise not to have to wait a long time for him!

First let me say that the molding and details on this Grogu is amazing! The appearance is spot-on to the character in The Mandalorian show. It is definitely well made. If you are looking for a great Star Wars/The Mandalorian display piece, this is it! Now, notice I called it a display piece. If you are hoping to get a cuddly gift for a Grogu-loving kid (or adult) I would suggest you look at other options. This Grogu has a soft body and arms, but that is where the softness ends. The hands and the head are quite hard. Realistically, this is due to accomplish the precise molding of these parts. This Grogu would not look so exactly like the character if the hands and head were plush. Yes, the body is plush. But the head, which makes up the greatest part of the total Grogu is not at all plush. He looks wonderful on a table, a chair, a dresser, a bed, etc. In that respect he can be a very adorable companion! But for a child (or adult) who wants to hug him, squeeze him, and all that ... I'm afraid they might be disappointed. I do definitely recommend this Grogu so long as it's understood what you're getting.

For the price point, IMO Disney did good. This thing is adorable, and for the price, impressive. Soft and huggable; good and accurate choices for the fabric; the hands and head are soft vinyl and nicely sculpted and painted; and they even managed to give this plush those large, luminescent eyes. Those eyes are such a feature of the character I definitely was looking for that - e.g. not painted eyes. The eyes seem to be plastic but look like glass. So, good basic stitching; no extras with this plushy but it's a plushy. Like, the robe isn't removable unless you cut stitching and no feet. Label says surface clean and polyester and plastic filling. IMO because of the pellets I might be cautious with this re chewing animals or young children in case of a tear. Past that, I'd gift to anyone including the crankiest adult you know. Especially to Mandalorian fans, in case, you know, next season fans need something to hug from the tension of it all, LOL. There's a flood of Baby Mando products out there including pricey statues, but I'd definitely pick this up for the fun and CUTENESS and HUG-ABILTY. For me a good purchase; I might get another. Or, Disney should do a version 2 with 'wee feet!

The Changeling/Child in Star Wars The Mandalorian has captivated fans around the globe from the time he was revealed in Episode One! This adorable character dubbed “Baby Yoda” by most fans is definitely a hot sought after addition to collectors everywhere! I purchased my Child back in December and paid 24.99 for him. His robe is made of a scratchy burlap type polyester fabric and his body is green polyester filled with plastic pellets. Also, the hem of his robe is not stitched...it time this could cause the bottom of the robe to start to fray. His hands and head are soft molded vinyl. His eyes are made of resin. One thing that stands out to me is, he has no feet. This is not a deal breaker for me on this item but it could be to some collectors. Some other reviewers have commented that he is not very green. This one is mint green and, to me, is true to the character’s coloring. His packaging is made up to resemble his galactic baby pram. The overall effect, this toy is adorable and although feetless, is well made. While I would purchase this product again, I would not pay more than the 25 dollars I originally paid when I pre-ordered. :D

Grogu's head is a little top heavy, but it'll stand by itself just fine. It's hands and head are plastic, the rest of Grogu is fabric and stuffing. Really super cute! I looked high and low for the perfect Grogu tree topper, but no avail. I found some diy images and thought to myself 'girl, you're a crafty kinda chic. Make your own' I found this guy, it shipped in 2 days and took me about an hour to get my head wrapped around the deconstruction and rebuild. Took a whole lot less time actually unstuffing it, hot gluing the fabric to prevent fraying, inserting a deep clear plastic 'to-go' container inside for it to fit on top of the tree without falling, I also hot glue and wired the arm so it could reach out and attached a bulb to string to the ceiling to resemble Grogu using the force. It is a perfect tree topper and I got a lot of compliments about it! Also, yes. That is a PINK Christmas tree! Pretty fantastic right!! ;)

Czekałam na niego 10 dni ale zdecydowanie było warto. Zabawka została wykonana z naprawdę dobrych materiałów, głowa i łapki Grogu są z miłego plastiku/sylikonu, a ciałko i ramiona z mięciutkiego pluszu. Całość wygląda rewelacyjnie, a opakowanie w kształcie serialowej kołyski można ze spokojem zostawić ☺️ Oczywiście, Grogu nie posiada nóżek ale moim zdaniem nie jest to minus, a plus, bo można go z łatwością postawić w dowolnym miejscu.
