Bright Eyes (Coulter Family)

I really love Catherine's build of the Coulter Family. The way she's woven the characters together is masterful and difficult to do. I feel like I'm watching a TV series, reading these books, and I love it!I enjoyed this book, the fifth in the series, more than I did book four, and I was so relieved! I really wanted a great story after I felt so let down, but Catherine didn't let me down with Bright Eyes.She's painted the history of the Coulter family with so much heart, loyalty, and commitment, that it's difficult not to fall in love with them. I will be sad when the series ends!In Bright Eyes, Catherine attacks some very common family and social problems with injections of humor to break up the seriousness surrounding these issues. Natalie and Zeke seemed like really people you might meet anywhere, and I enjoyed the development of their story.Yes, you need to read this book!

Omg, I must say I don't think I've loved any child character in an Anderson novel as much as I loved Rosie Patterson. Talk about a well written character, I so wanted her to be real so I could listen to hear talk like a little adult. Well, Catherine did it again, Zeke Coulter is as fabulous as all is other brothers, and she definitely took me by surprise with that plot twist. As always by the end of the book I was totally envious of Natalie Patterson for having had her dreams come true, with the help of the love of a man that she planned to love forever and for always. Next Coulter novel here I come.

All I can say this series is a great read I am looking forward to the next book you will loved the little girl rosie in this book she is a character

Bright Eyes by Catherine AndersonLoved this book as I have all of them from the series beginnings. I like the way she attacks common family and social problems and injects humor. She brings this family from post civil war to the way things are now. I only wish this family could go on forever and I would always be able to read about them.

You can’t go wrong with the Coulter Series!! Read them in order - I like it better that way!

this book was part of a series and an AWESOME read the entire series has been absolutely fabulousthe Coulter family has heart, Loyalty,Commitment,and so much Love and History ....How can anyone not grow to love this series of booksI Love this series and the family. Catherine Anderson is amazing with detail of this Families existence.The way she writes these stories made me wish I could have been living in that town and been a friend of the family

Catherine Anderson is one of the best authors that I have read in creating kind, predictable characters that fall into situations that test their ability to remain sane. Bright Eyes was a light and enjoyable read. Each new character that I come across in this series of books becomes a favorite until I read another one. Kudos to an insightful lady.

A great story. Characters seem real, situations possible and so well written. Could not put it down. Would highly recommend this book. Phyllis
