Can the outer covering be removed and washed in the washing machine?

Thank you for your enquiry - the beanbag cover is wipeable but we will not recommend machine washing .

Is the footstool recommended with the lounger? Also I hear bad comments about the filling being delivered separately. Is this still the case?

Hi it doesn't need a footstool if you sit in it instead of on it. The filling was already in the bag that I purchased. I no longer have need for mine so I am looking to sell it.

The beanbag is not prefilled . We will send the amount of filling needed and the cover so you can fill it .

Could you use this under a desk for working from home?

No. Not unless it was the lowest desk in the history of furniture.
