This is my son's favorite book! He's 6 and autistic and his biggest challenge is understanding his own emotions. At school, he utilizes a color chart to indicate how he feels when words betray him. This book matches the color chart! He knew what each emotion was by the color. He's a visual learner and his tactile oriented and thus book is perfect for him. Today he got upset over something simple and I told him, "I see the red monster coming out. Let's get the green monster out instead." That made him think about the book and I could tell that he was visualizing the book in his mind. It was just enough time for him to come down from his anger. Love it!

Beautifully done, pop-ups are well made and very colorful. Big hit with my 2 year old granddaughter. Totally recommend. Fun way to explore/unerstanding emotions and feelings.
