I was already using a cast iron pan from lodge since 7 years. Wanted a similar smaller one. There were other local brands in the market much cheaper but I went for this due to the fact it's got a better quality control, uniform thickness in the base, smoother finish inside which will result in providing a better non stick. It's got a lifetime warranty. Nowdays mostly all cast iron pans come pre seasoned. Best thing is that this product comes with a handle. Very useful. And handle is a snug fit with a strap lock. Go for this if you're looking for quality cast iron because they last a lifetime. Invest

Ordered 20cm skillet from Amazon seller Cloudtail. The product quality is good, but delivered without canvas grip. Ordered this mainly for its canvas grip, as it will protect us against accidentally touching the hot handle while working. However we need to use another cloth on top of that canvas grip while holding the handle in hot condition. Highly priced too. Made in China. Bought Embassy same sized skillet at much cheaper price. Made in India. Quality is good. Pre-Seasoning seems to be better than Meyer. The handle is a little shorter, but it is comfortable for the small size of the skillet.

Love it. A size that suits a range of needs, from breakfast's sunny side ups to dinner's crispy skin chicken, this pan is a constant companion now in our kitchen. A handle sleeve helps, and I had one from Amazon Basics. Can also be used in the oven. Two eggs can be easily fried at the same time and mini dosas also come out great. No need to frequently wash if you know how to maintain your cast iron. 1. Always heat pan for 7-8 mins before putting in oil or what you are cooking (Leidenfrost effect or when water droplets dance in the skillet as globules before evaporating). This is to ensure it is completely non-stick. 2. If you clean it with a sponge and dish soap, then wipe dry completely immediately (easy given it is a small pan), and rub and buff with vegetable oil. Occasionally, heat the pan till it smokes after oiling. Do this for the first few weeks atleast. This pan is so handy and non-stick...glad i found it!

Not a good product There is a black coating which is peeling off I do hope it’s not a poisonous chemical The food is becoming black This is very very disturbing

Rusting the inside. What to do

I was searching a frying pas esp to cook the french toast and this one is the best. I did seasoning once and it became perfect. The food doesn't stick at all. It heats up evenly and the handle cover does helps to prevent burning of hands but still becomes hot. It washes well too. Only tip is please do not keep your pan soaked for long hours to retain the nice non stick finish we have got with the seasoning. Earlier I got stainless steel pan and the egg would stick and the most annoying thing the oil would burn off and make the edges of the pan so brown. This pan has resolved all the issues and has made my steel pan redundant.

It is def not non stick due to its rough surface. Not easy to use due to enormous weight. but it is of cast iron so you must know this will be heavy. Good for thick curries like pav bhaji with a lot of butter. Heat distribution is good.

I’m new to cast iron cookware and I bought this to avoid the hazards of non- stick surfaces. With this size the pan is not too heavy, although I have to be careful not to drop it onto induction cooktop! I’ve used it maybe ten times, so far, and there is no sticking and no rust, so long as I use enough oil, wash promptly, dry and then lightly oil. So far, very happy.

I have discarded all the cancerous non stick pans. With This cast iron skillet my Indian vegetable and curries taste so so amazing authentic . Truly amazing product . There should’ve been some cover on the handle as it gets hot but that’s okay I have put one myself . Worth every penny!!!

This pan does everything a cast iron pan should, but, be prepared for the weight, be prepared to learn how to “season” the pan. I find this product to be value for money and everything about ordering and delivery were met with good, seamless customer service
