Must have for your tool box. This is the larger one. I have used it for solid core wire.

Curious design is probably a good one, but not too precise machining means they work as strippers, but not really superior to traditional strippers. Initially rough finish meant they were a bit hard to get smooth quick strips, getting a bit smoother as manufacturing burrs smooth out. Cutters are excellent.

If you do a lot of control work these are great. I have both the 26 to 16 ga and the 14 to 10 ga cutters. I would have given them 5 stars but the handle design makes the larger one hard to use unless you have large hands. I took the second star because I thought they were American made but it turned out they were made in china.Update: 1/10/2013 I decided I had to take another star (down to 2 stars), I tried to used the 14 to 10 ga. stripper on solid wire and it wouldn't strip the wire.

You can’t find a more efficient wire stripper. With a simple clench of your fist and you have a perfectly stripped wire. I bought these as a gift for someone but I have owned a pair for 15 years. I highly recommend purchasing the pair for smaller gauge wire as well.

Broke after using them a couple of times. They are not well built, wish they were better since I could really use a solid pair of these, but they are not.. Maybe I got a bad pair but I dont have enough confidence to order a second set or to recommend these to others

The large unit works very well for stripping wires. The only downside I have is that the ones I bought(large + small) take a bit of pressure for it to strip. Other than that, they are awesome and great for doing quick strip jobs on cables.

These wire strippers fell apart after no more than 12-20 uses. They also strip wire about as good as a pocket knife. There are many people who rebrand this item with their name on it and every one is junk. Do not waste you money. Cool idea, terrible engineering.
