Very pleased with this quality watch
I've only had the watch for a few days, but I'm in love with it. I bought it in black and gold and it looks very smart and stylish. It has a nice weight to it, the face is thin and simple (how I like my watches), and the strap and mechanism feels like it is of a really solid and impressive quality. Only my partner has seen it so far but I'm expecting some compliments in the weeks to come. I love watches and this just might be the new star in my collection (which is quite impressive given the very reasonable price).

Watch strap adjuster will not close to lock onto strap.
Watch appears value for money but strap adjuster will not clip to strap so cannot adjust. Have complained direct to Vigor Rigger.

Great watch at a great price -- and the strap *is* secure!
I wanted a subtle black watch, with a metal strap and a date indicator...check, check, check! It's easy to read, comfortable to wear, easy to put on. The face is quite large (I wouldn't want one any bigger on my wrist), but that does make it easy to read. Both the watch itself and the strap are quite thin, adding to the comfort. Some reviews have said the strap isn't very secure, but that's not true -- it is very secure. However, the instructions are not clear at all, so if you've never had a strap like this before I can understand not fastening it properly and it falling off as a result of that. I've added some pictures to show how there's a piece that needs lifting, that the strap goes under, not over. With this in place it can't accidentally fall off -- in fact if you have very short fingernails you'll struggle to release it yourself!! Apart from better instructions, I'd just prefer that the date indicator was ever so slightly larger, but apart from that niggle this watch is exactly what I was looking for. I'd happily buy another.
