Review: This book is so BEAUTIFUL - So as I get older I realize I haven't actually seen much of this country that I live in! But the thought of trying to figure out where to go and what to see is daunting - this book is a treasure in more ways than one! It points out all kinds of cool things in EACH of the 50 states of this great country of ours! The ONLY recommendation I would make is to put a map of the United States somewhere in this book (I kinda wished the inside front and back covers would have had that map instead of just blank inside covers) but that is it - other than that this book is GREAT GREAT GREAT! Review: The unique states of America - We are getting ready to take a trip around the USA in our retirement. This book has lots of pictures and great ideas. It will be fun to explore the options. We also invested in an atlas - even though we all use google to get around, it's fun to look at a map you can touch - yes- because we are baby boomers.

Great Buy, Great Gift
I purchased as a gift but I have a feeling I'll be re-purchasing for myself soon! I flipped through this a little before wrapping and then a little more on Christmas, after they opened it! When it comes to travel, I am a Type A planner, always searching through location specific FB groups, Trip Advisor, Yelp etc., where the couple I bought it for are more 'get in the car and go' people who do travel all over the country but don't use much tech and struggle to find things to see and do beyond the most famous tourist attractions. I honestly think both of us will get good use out of this book. Aside from the content, it can be dicey to buy books online as I have had many be damaged in shipping. This one was pristine - no bent pages, creases, or scratched covers, no stickers to peel off and leave residue, etc. Great buy and a great gift, although I'll wait for it to go on sale again before re-purchasing.

Different kind of travel book!
During these Corona days a new book is an absolutely thrilling thing to get in the mail. I had spotted this in a book store months ago and was intrigued and finally took the leap. One thing I love is that while mentioning the must see's in each state it also delves into lesser known areas I haven't read about before. It also has what to eat in each state which I love since usually that it reserved for books on international destinations. Very satisfied!

Wonderful
I love this book. It has a lot of information about all the different states. It has tips about what to eat, what to see and suggests also how to organize your trip. Good also for families.

Briefest look at every state - nothing you don't know
I bought this imagining that it would cover weird / unique attractions in each state. couldn't have been more wrong! it's the blandest of the bland...just shows the regular attractions of each state that a common newspaper article would show. nothing unique.....nothing you'd miss in a million years. rubbish
