Great fun for whole family
The toy is excellent! My 8 year old and wife will not let me (the husband) play with it. The cars are very manuvarible. We were able to do a 360 degree turn in about 1 foot diameter. The sound effects when the guy flies out has my three year old continuously laughing. Niether adult nor child has an advantage when playing and both has a chance to "win" the game. The cars have taken a beating and still are in great shape. Battery life has been at least 10 hours of playtime and have not died. You can justify this as an educational game by teaching about accidents and not using your seatbelt (you could fly out!). Loved it so much that took it to work and my cubicle person is buying one. Only drawback is only two frequencied so I can not buy another pair for a four person bumper car.

lots of fun
I bought one set for grandkids in New Mexico, ages 5 and 7, and they love them. So I bought another set for my 4yr. old grandson that I happened to spend new years with and we all had fun with them. They worked well right from the start. They are pretty fast and the pop out drivers were a huge success. Easy enough for young ones to drive even if they have a challenge hitting the button to pop out driver. The adults had a good time with these too. The adults have more skill to avoid getting thier driver popped out and also to aim for the buttons, so it made it great fun for any age. The cars are very solid. This is not cheap plastic, but a well made toy.

Orange Car Didn't Make it Past Christmas Eve!!!
While the cars worked they were a blast. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars; I would say they were a 5. My 5 year old son loved them. Now for the bad, in terms of durability I would rate them 1 star. After about two - three hours of play, the orange car started going very slow. I changed the batteries and still nothing. It was then that I compared the orange car to the blue car when I realized that the front wheels gears in the orange car did not have the same resistance as the blue car. And so because the orange lacked the same torque in the front wheels as the blue car, it no longer operated as fast as when we originally unpacked the cars. I have read other reviews and some claim that one car is slower than the other. The reason for this is because the gears in the car has failed probably due to the motor burning out. Overall I am giving this toy one star because it did not last the night, which by the way did not surprise me in the least as my initial impression was that they were cheaply made. Too bad for my son, I was right!

Bump n Chuck a toy that keeps a kid's interest for much more than 15 mins
I was looking for a toy that would entertain my two little grandsons (3 and 5 years old) while staying with me for 5 days. I love playing with them, but I needed something they could amuse themselves with to give me a little break. Bump and Chuck was the perfect toy. They were both so delighted with the little alien popping out of the vehicle and they spent over and hour racing and bumping each other. It's been over 2 months now, and this is still their favorite toy. Yes, it takes a lot of batteries, but believe me it's so worth it. Kid Galaxy RC Bump 'n Chuck Bumper Cars

Super fun
These cars are amazing. My son never gets tired of playing with them. Like others before me have said, they're even fun for the grown ups. The only problem I've had with them is that one of the cars stopped working (no, wasn't the batteries) within a few days. I contacted the company and she said they will replace it and it will get here within 3 weeks so hopefully I will recieve the replacement. I'm kind of not sure though. All in all super fun to play with, it just needs to last more than 4 days.

Laughs...Laughs....and more Laughs
I got this as a "joke gift" for my kids for Christmas - they are older (college junior and highschool senior). Turns out, they totally love these bumper cars! They squared off in the kitchen (these run faster on a vinyl or hardwood floor than on soft carpet) and were chasing each other around. Every now and then, there was a collision and a man in the car was ejected..along with appropriate sound effects.. it was a HOOT! Laughing all the way! Even our dog came to investigate. Of course he was then subject to teasing by these bumper cars... which he took in good nature... even "stealing" one of the men that was ejected from the car as it hit a chair leg. More laughing. These take quite a few batteries to get them going (be sure to have them on-hand), control range is fine, and these are quite well built and able to take abuse. After 30 seconds playing with these cars, everyone was smiling - and when a collision happened - we all laughed at the funny sound the car makes when the man is ejected. Turns out this "joke gift" was a very appreciated gift!

Great idea; terrible execution.
These are SO FUN... when they work. Unfortunately, there are a LOT of design problems. At first one of the cars simply didn't move at all. After some work, I finally discovered that one of the batteries in the car wasn't making proper contact, so I made a makeshift pad to hold it more firmly against the fittings. Then it worked! For about 10 minutes... then BOTH cars started to slow way down and only move very slowly. Some sort of defect with the motor, we're guessing. My son was so looking forward to "playing bumper cars" with his Grandpa when he arrived. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!

Awesome Experience for Young & Wise!!
Soooo much fun , oh my! Had grandma's & 4 y/o grandson's undivided attention! He was a much better driver because the cars required a lot of maneuvering & "quick " thinking. I bought this for him because he loves playing rough & CRASHING his cars causing a lot of noise in addition to his personal sound effects. His parents have put him in "time out " after repeated request to keep the noise down. This would crush grandma 's heart, after all...boys will be boys right? So when I saw these bumper cars I was e's static. These cars are designed to be bumped & crashed with minimal noise compared to cars not meant to be crashed. Bumping each other's car by remote control helps with noise reduction. A great thinking challenge for the young & wise (old). This is helping him learn how to be competitive without getting angry when he loses. His lack of competitive spirit has been a problem @ his pre- school & playing in general with his friends. A good way to work on this issue in the privacy of your home. Yes he began to show his anger after I started to get the hang of driving the cars & beat him a few times. Also, has been a great way to get in some father/son (daughter) or mother /daughter (son) quality time together! These bumper cars will bring out the kid in all of us "wise" people! This was a gift tailored made for my rugged grand baby. The bumper cars delivered their promise, endless fun!

Good fun, all around
I bought these for my 'older' nephews and they were a big hit. Many matches ensued. The sounds effects from the vehicles when a driver was ejected, were nothing compared to the sighs of anguish form a loser. Good fun, all around.

... boys opened these cars on Christmas day 2016 and loved them right away
My boys opened these cars on Christmas day 2016 and loved them right away. Right up until 2 days later - the little man that sits in the orange car stopped working. He no longer would sit in the seat at all. Which meant of course that he would no longer be able to fly out of his seat. After that broke my younger son would no longer play with it. This was the first remote control vehicle that my boys received so they were pretty bummed :( Very upsetting that this $60 gift only lasted a few days.
