We just finished with a cross country move, and we opted to fly with our cats rather than drive. The trip was 10 hours total; 8.5 hours of flight time. The crates did exactly what we needed them to do. The cats could lie comfortably in their crates with it both fully zipped up and extended. Ventilation and visibility were both good too. The cats seemed comfortable (or at least as comfortable as they can be in the situation they were in) The zippers can be a little confusing if you don’t mess with the crates beforehand since there’s so many of them, but it shouldn’t be an issue. They were very durable. We never had any worries as to whether or not they could hold up throughout our trip. They were also very easy to maneuver and carry around. The strap on the back was very appreciated since you can feed your wheeled luggage’s handle through it and let the crate sit on top of your luggage. I do wish the storage pockets were larger, but it wasn’t a huge issue. We could still cram our gallon bag of litter into one of the side pockets; it just couldn’t velcro shut.

This pet carrier is the best I’ve ever used! Traveling is so much easier now. I’ve taken four flights, and the quality is amazing. Plus, my dog feels comfortable and can stretch out during the flight. I sometimes feel bad limiting my dog’s space, but this carrier has made it so much better for both of us.

My 17lb mini schnauzer hates crates and carriers so I was REALLY nervous flying with him across the country. l searched all of Amazon and Chewy for the perfect doggie carrier and reluctantly decided on this one (TBH my expectations were really low because I wasn’t 100% sold on ANY carrier). However, this carrier was so much greater than I could have imagined! My dog had plenty of room to turn around and even was able to curl up in his usual ball to sleep with a ton of room at the opposite end of the carrier. Additionally, we carried him all across the Denver airport and a few layovers with 0 issues in bag quality - the straps & handles are extremely durable. The bag extenders were great, but the bag was a lot larger for my dog than I expected so I didn’t even need to use them! One thing to note: the carrier did not fit under the seat fully in the 737, but it was within airline standards(ish) for United. However, I realized that no doggie carrier in airline sizing would fit fully or comfortably under the seat. Overall, absolutely love this bag and very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend to anyone who is a bit worried about a larger pup 🙂

We are in the middle of an international move, moving back to the USA from the Caribbean and we are bring 4 cats back with us. After doing lots of searching on Amazon, we decided this carrier would be the best due to the overall size, interior comfort, fold out sides and plenty of pockets. Carriers arrived flat and after zipping the sides up to build it, we were very impressed. Looked like exactly what was advertised. We have two “robust” cats and two not so “robust” cats. With one cats per carrier, there was plenty of room with the sides zipped up. You could easily fit two kittens in with no problems though. Once the sides are unzipped, there is a ton of room for the cat. Our vet on the island was very impressed with the carrier. For our flights (had to make two trips due to Delta only allowing one cats per person), we were on a Delta 737-800 and sitting in row 21 (about 10 or so rows from the back). The carrier “fit” under the seat in front of us…kind of. Length was it was about 3” too long and required a bit of effort to get it wedged in there. Heights wise it was exact with not a mm to spare. There was definitely no opening any of the sides on the plane and our foot room was non existent. Other than that part, the carrier was very comfortable for us humans to carry and seemed comfortable for our cats. Shoulder strap was nice, pockets were great to keep each cats medical records and other goodies for the flight. Just beware that there are a few zippers that lead to the outside world. If you have a cat that is anxious and an escape artist, you may want to zip tie all but one zipper. If the cat worked hard enough, some of the zippers might be able to be opened from the inside. All in all, great carrier, just a bit too long for the plane we were on.

Please don't judge, we had a short 2 hours flight direct home to visit family for the holiday and I wasn't allowed to book a second seat on Allegiant and the other option was a further away airport and about 4x the price. That said, my two pom mixes are on the hefty side (they should be 8.5 and 13.5 lbs each) but we love eating so we're a tad heavier. They're siblings and even when not in a carrier or stroller, they like to be on each other so for them, this wasn't an issue. Allegiant's flight to and from FLL to ORF, window seat, is what we flew and this carrier does NOT fit under the seat. It's a tad too long/wide and too tall. Not sure if the Siivton carrier I have would have fit under but I wanted the extra inch or two since I had two puppers in there. IDK how the other person smooshed theirs down but my bag's edges wouldn't bend and I'm not exactly a weakling lol. I was never stopped or questioned for measuring the bag, I think they just eyeballed it and most of the staff were too busy awwing over the pups. Only one flight attendant read out the rules to me (which I was aware) and asked what seat I was in bc the window seat had smaller space she said. I told her our first flight I made it work ok. So if you can see the pics, I have no legroom, but I was ok with it considering i'm short, it was only 2 hours, and still not as bad as the pups being in a bag together. Wouldn't recommend this for someone taller who needs their legroom. But since this did not fit under the seat, I was able to expand the other long side for them to spread out a bit more too. It was just a little tricky to close back up. All in all though, I recommend this bag, it's sturdy, lots of mesh openings and options for expansion. Two side storage pockets for their treats and leashes. And this bag slides/pops nicely into my HPZ travel lite stroller for quick getaway out of the bridge and gate if anyone else has a stroller like me. Once I get out of the way, I let the pups into their stroller and hang this carrier on the stroller handlebars.

This has been my first experience flying with a small pet - I have a terrier mix with a bit of dachshund, 17 lbs, about 21 in long so a bit on the long side for carriers. This carrier has worked great for us - so far we've been on 2 round trips, 8 total planes and usually 12-16 hrs of travel in a day, and the design of this carrier has relieved quite a bit of fatigue for my pup. Because he's a little long to be comfortable in the zipped up size, it's really nice while waiting in the airport to be able to unzip the mesh vents on each of the 4 sides and let him have room to stretch out and move around some. The carrier has to be fully zipped up on the plane to fit under the seat in front, but usually once we're at cruising alt, I'll unzip the sides to get some air flow going, and sometimes I can unzip the side facing me to give him some room too (don't tell on me LOL). It gets really really warm under the seats so it's great to have mesh available on all sides. I usually place the carrier longways, facing me, so it does stick out some toward my feet, but I've never had an issue with a flight attendant asking me to push it farther forward or anything. Maybe for a smaller pet the carrier could be compressed a bit to fit it sideways fully under the seat. It's handy that there are entry points in the front and back as well as the top - I can lead him in from one side and let him out from the other rather than have him turn around/back out or lift him out. There is a clip with a little tether inside - I don't keep that on most of the time because I'm concerned about him getting wrapped up in it, but if I'm letting him poke his head out the top a little, I'll put it on just in case he tries to bolt (big airports are spooky to a little guy). The pockets on the side are big enough to fit some treats, collapsible water bowl, a roll of waste bags, the shoulder strap, his leash, and a couple granola bars, and it's a tight squeeze but still doable. Speaking of the shoulder strap - gonna be honest, I never use this. Because of how it fastens (to the front and back of the bag), and because the bag is soft shell, it curves it up towards the two attachment points and doesn't provide support in the center. This is really uncomfortable for a fella trying to lie down in the middle. I always use the handles, which have the same kind of effect in the other direction across the bag, but that's okay because it just kind of "hugs" him and encourages him to stay lying down. Honestly I think the slight pressure helps calm him down. The downside of that though is you're carrying the bag the whole time by hand, which gets heavy quickly because it's kind of unwieldy. When I'm with him I usually estimate to double the amount of time it usually takes me to move through the airport - because I need to set the carrier down every so often, or switch hands, or set it down on the moving walkway and stand still where I'd normally keep walking (and I lift weights in my free time so it's not just a matter of personal strength). The shoulder strap is nice though when I am using the carrier just as a bag; I like to keep his supplies in there to carry around when not flying, and treating it like a normal duffel bag works just fine. Highly recommend for anyone flying with a small pet.

I bought this so I could bring my princess Pearl from Texas to Indiana for thanksgiving and Christmas break. I travel for work and want to bring her to see my wife and daughters. I looked at every single cat carrier on Amazon. After much deliberation, this was the final choice. And I don’t regret it. Granted, I have yet to fly with her. But after throwing a shirt if mine in there and a couple treats, she loves it. When she’s not with me, it’s her go to sleep spot. She is 13 pounds. I can even zip it all up and carry her around. She seems to really enjoy. Don’t mind her claws. Hers are unusually curved and they get stuck in everything. I’m trying to find someone who can clip them. Once it’s unfolded, it’s super roomy. She can spin around. Stretch out with room to spare. Seems well made. The liner is soft and washable. The zippers seem sturdy. And it folds super flat. Which was a huge selling point for me. I anticipate using it 4 times a year. So I don’t want a huge nag taking up space 360 days a year. Follow up. We love it. And we figured out Pearl is a boy. Not a girl. So know we call him Pearl the boy cat.

I stressed over this for weeks. First chose an airline that seemed reasonable. I made a spread sheet and compared the requirements of our airline (SW) to 18 different carriers . Started with the highest end models. I didn’t want wheels to roll in on. That meant an extra step for the over head storage . My dog is 14 lbs and little tall for a Bichon/ shitzu. A priority was strap for my shoulder AND carry handles so I could do either. After hearing the crazy stories about long layovers and plane delays, I wanted the zipper top - Bonus was the mesh flexible netted ceiling . You can see her picture that she could push her head up into netted area and see above the crate. This carrier was perfect . The dimensions were a little larger than what SW recommended but it is flexible and I could squeeze it under seat. . I opened all four tip outs for her to stretch during layover at airport. While in flight I only opened one . It was great! Note - I called the vet who prescribed a mild sedative. I gave her only half of a dose and it was perfect. We arrived at airport at 5:15 am in carrier. No issue with crate at check in or when boarding . Three hour lay over was extended to 5 . Finally landed at destination at 8:15 pm. She was in carrier ALL day except for a long walk during layover through airport .She refused to use the dog relief area (stunk and grass was artificial) . I gave her a few ice cubes in flight . No other food or water . She mostly slept. Huge success ! And the price is fantastic! I did add a softer pad inside If I were doing it over I would find a way to pad shoulder strap . It gets heavy and I wish I would have of thought to find a way to wrap something more comfortable around strap to pad my shoulder. Hope all of my research helps someone else !

Sturdy and perfect size. Can expand to offer a 'playhouse' type kennel for short periods. Fully opens out which we have found useful in the past when transporting pets with mobility problems. This also helps with cleaning. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is by far one of the best products I bought for my cats. I put it up and left it on the floor and they immediately got curious. One of them stepped in at his will and took possession of it 😹. The only comment I have is that it won’t fit large sized cats, only two of my five would fit. The others need a larger carrier (or maybe a weight loss program).

Needed this for picking up a new puppy. Love that it can expand which gave her more foom while traveling. Now she is too big, I can use this for my cat.
