It cannot be connected directly to your house wiring. If you are looking for LevLok devices, it probably is a very high quality device, and merits a higher rating. It will require that you purchase a LevLok module such as Leviton MSTWL-SDA, which current sells for $12.23 from Amazon, in addition to the $8 or so for the duplex outlet.
