Noico 80 mil is first of all sound and vibro insulation, it is also a heat barrier but to a much lesser extent.Specifically for heat insulation we recommend using special materials such as Dynamat Hood Liner or Noico Liner. But the greatest effect can be obtained when applying Noico 80 mil as the first layer and Hood Liner as the second one.

That's not how this product works. It adds mass to large vibrating panels. You want mass loaded vinyl with a closed cell foam decoupling layer.

We do not recommend using this material for treatment of engine compartment except for using it as an application for the hood. The best solution would be the treatment of firewall and floor from interior side.
