Why are the larger packs no longer available?

So you have to buy more smaller rolls at a higher price

Is this only for sound or could it be used as a heat barrier for under the hood?

Noico 80 mil is first of all sound and vibro insulation, it is also a heat barrier but to a much lesser extent.Specifically for heat insulation we recommend using special materials such as Dynamat Hood Liner or Noico Liner. But the greatest effect can be obtained when applying Noico 80 mil as the first layer and Hood Liner as the second one.

I am thinking of insulating my new dewalt contractor tablesaw would this product absorb the high pitch noise

That's not how this product works. It adds mass to large vibrating panels. You want mass loaded vinyl with a closed cell foam decoupling layer.

Can i put it in the inside of my engine bay? I have a jeep yj

We do not recommend using this material for treatment of engine compartment except for using it as an application for the hood. The best solution would be the treatment of firewall and floor from interior side.
