Makes rice wine look pretty
Making red lees rice wine. This yeast is what gives the wine it's vibrant red color. The only way I know to buy this yeast is to either go to Chinatown in NY or buy it on Amazon. I love the wine, so I will be buying more of this product.

So Bitter
Bought 4 bags of this, hope for the best. No matter how I cooked it, it was so extremely bitter. I ended up throwing all of it away.

Expiring
All 4 bags will expire on 11/30/2021 which is less than a year. There’s no way I can use all these to make wine before the expiration date. Update: contacted the seller and he is willing to exchange them with fresher rice. Also provided a return label.

Great red yeast rice!
Using this red yeast rice for fermentation. Works well. Good service, packaging, and shipping. Someone complained about the expiration date. This is a natural product. Yeast can’t live forever in a bag. Just mix up a bunch of rice. Four bags isn’t that much.
