Freedom Feeder Mesh Net Full Bale Horse Feeder – Designed To Feed Horse For 7 Days – Reduce Horse Feeding Anxiety And Behavioral Issues

I've been really happy with this net. My horse has had it for about 2.5 weeks now and it is working just as it is supposed to with no tears so far.I'm using it in a rubber ground feeder to promote head down feeding. I installed 2 eye screws on the bottom of the feeder and I use the included carabiners to clip it into the feeder. I have it clipped into the bottom by the bottom of the net. It's tricky to clip it, but one bale lasts my horse 3 days so I only have to deal with it a couple of times a week. The clips prevent my horse from dragging the net out when it is more depleted.I followed the directions in the box and continued to feed loose hay at regular feeding times until I felt like he really had the hang of the net. It took my horse about a week.It is harder for him to get the hay or when the net is depleted and not overstuffed, but he manages ok. I just watch it a bit closer when it is less than half full to make sure it's never fully depleted.Lots of people have asked about this net and I have given it a good recommendation.

they work ok for the rate of consumption however the horses seem intent on turning over the containers that they go in or getting their feet hung up in them. We tie them up on the pipe corrals to keep them off the ground and allow free access. they work good.

Held a bale easily. Was difficult to maneuver after filling. My horses pulled it out of the feeder and dragged it down the hill. Not a success for us.

Love this! One bales lasts about 6 days. And my horse is so much happier.

Very cool product. You just have to make sure you keep tightening it as they eat or stuffing more hay in. I does not come with the trough I found out. But the strings are good quality.

I first purchased smaller 1 1/2 inch bag. My mare ate the entire bale in 2 to 2 1/2 days. Decided to get 1 inch bag and she tore holes in the bag in 2 days time because the rope gauge is much smaller.
