Le Creuset Silicone Mill Caps, Set of 2, 2 1/2" each, Marseille

I suspect many owners of Le Creuset pepper and salt mills have chafed at the idea of spending more money buying these silly rubber caps, which really should have been included as part of the mills. I resisted buying them for a few years, out of sheer consumer indignation, and also because they did not came in colors that matched my out-of-print mill colors (this was a particular source of irritation). Lacking the caps, I set the mills on little ceramic saucers to catch the pepper dust. It's much better, however, to have a perfectly-fitted silicon cap. I am very pleased with what arrived in the mail, as the caps were thicker and sturdier than I expected, and fitted the 8" mills perfectly - they don't fall off, but peel off easily when you are ready to use the mill. They're easy to wash. If you are irritated that they don't come in the "right" colors, try finding the closest match, or even a contrast color, to brighten up your set. It doesn't look bad. Of all the colors, I think black and white caps would be very dull, unless you are matching a black and white mill set. I got Marseille blue and it's a nice rich blue tone. Good luck. By the way, the salt mills have ceramic grinders, and have worked perfectly for me for grinding pepper.

These work Great with the le creuset salt and pepper mills! I needed them before the grinders on the mills face down and would leave a mess but my counter is clean and the caps keep the mess hidden and away. The material is nice and sturdy and it fits nice and snug. No falling off or accidentally messes. Would highly recommend!!

These caps work great they keep the salt and pepper from spilling out onto the table. Very happy with his purchase.

Anyone who owns the Le Creuset salt and pepper grinders, knows that they leak/drop excess salt and pepper, after you stop using them and place them down. The salt grinders seems to be much worse than the pepper, but either usually leaves a residue of salt or pepper over the counter or tray that the grinders live on. These stoppers do exactly what you want, and contain the mess. I'd give them five stars, except I had to use a different color to my grinders. Soleil has been discontinued as a color, and these are a new product, so I had to match to the new Oyster color that I've brought into my collection. I wish Le Creuset would cycle back with retired colors.

Purchased these to put an end to the mess the mills leave after each use. Fit snugly and easy to use. High quality plastic and well designed. Fit my needs perfectly and looks attractive as well.

Elas são indispensáveis para quem tem o moedor de sal e o de pimenta. Minha única crítica é que a Le Creuset não fabricou essas tampas DA COR ESPECÍFICA da parte de baixo dos moedores de forma que o silicone fica bem aparente porque o vermelho das tampas é bem aberto, gritante e os moedores têm um vermelho mais fechado nas suas partes de baixo, é mais um vinho um bordô... Tirando esse inconveniente, elas são perfeitas para evitar a bagunça de restos de pó na cozinha ou na mesa de jantar.

Die Mühlenkappen eignen sich hervorragend, um die Küche sauber zu halten und passen perfekt. Zwar sind sie etwas teurer, doch angesichts ihres Nutzens ist der Preis durchaus okay.

Thick quality rubber material. Fit 8 inch grinders perfectly. Match with Caribbean blue le creuset grinders. Great price. Protects the bottom very well.

I'd be lost without these. They fit perfectly onto the end of the mill. They save so much mess from salt or pepper spilling out over time. Very easy to clean too.
