The first issue is the "Dark Brown" finish doesn't match their "Dark Brown" crate color. The divider is a slightly lighter color. The second issue is the way the clamps work, the divider is very flimsy on the one side. It almost moves freely back and forth due to the way the clamps work. I wish they'd make a better/larger clamp that spans multiple bars to prevent this movement.Does it divide the crate? Yes. Can it be better? Yes.

Couple suggestions for improvement:1) Make the snaps easier to open and close (for humans). Will be good for folks with growing puppies who need to move the divider periodically.2) Would be nicer if the divider came with either a sliding door or a side/hatch door (like the crate has on one end). Currently, if you want to remove one side, you need to remove the top on the crate (if you have one) and then remove a couple screws (which are different sizes, so you need two different screw drivers), remove the top of the divider, and then finally remove the side panel.

For how much it costs, it’s not worth it. It’s really just a piece of wire that you have to connect to the wire of the crate with clips. The clips keep it in place but it still moves slightly because of how it’s made. My puppy bit the wood at the bottom the first day I put it in and now it has little bite marks so it doesn’t hold up too well. Just overall not worth the price. I’m disappointed and wish I could receive a refund.

Bought this two divide my expandable crate when I got my Shih Tzu dog a little brother. Serves the purpose of keeping them apart. I gave it 4 starts because I think a better job could have been done with making it a little easier when snapping the divider to the crate. So glad they make this divider overall.
