This is my second knee brace I bought from McDavid. They make good quality braces that last for many years. I like that it does not slip during use.

These work great for my son when playing basketball. He has osgoogschlatter and they really help keep his knees pain free when playing. These ones replaced another pair of McDavids that worked great but got wore out. Great product

Comfort: Good product, my son used it during a sports injury, we still use it as needed even my husband when he has knee pain. It’s tight but stretchy

I measured my knee as directed and was at the higher end of the Small, so I bought it but it was pinching the back of my knee. I contacted McDavid via email directly and they advised it was pinching because it was too small of a size. I bought a Medium and it is way better. Doesn't slip down my leg, is comfortable, and provides good support for my knee. Thanks!

I have two of these (one for each knee... imagine that!) and have used them for a year now. I use them for about an hour each morning while working out. They are still in great condition and haven't stretched or lost their shape at all. I clean them periodically with warm water, squeeze them out, and hang them over the tub to dry. They dry very quickly, by the way, just a couple hours. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and use to end up with sore knees quite often even though my workout is low-impact (usually elliptical machine). Since using these braces and taking Osteo BiFlex I have seen a great improvement. I'm pretty sure it's a combination of the two that has been so effective, but I do know that on occasion when I decide to work out without the McDavids I usually end up feeling it in my knees. For me the only drawbacks are (1) they really make my knees sweat and (2) they are not comfortable while stretching. I don't like to wear them while walking, although I probably should, because for some reason they feel more restrictive when I'm walking than when i'm on the elliptical machine. I ordered a medium, maybe a large would feel better for walking.

The item is incredibly comfortable and can be worn conspicuously under any kind of pants, skirts, & dresses. One can hardly feel its presence. I only use it for my most active days, since I still want the muscle to do the job on its own. The delivery by USPS left a lot to be desired; that is, they wouldn't deliver it to the door since it did not fit in my mailbox, so I had to go acquire it at the post office (15 mins. away). So, I believe I'm due for a shipping fee reimbursement.

As we age, our bodies are subject to ware and tare. Yes, the soft fat pad tissue at our knee too. This knee support will hold the two crescent-shaped discs positioned between the tibia and femur i.e. not to spin side way while you are running; hence, reduce the tension in grinding the tissues at the knee discs. I bought one for my right knee at a sporting goods store; when I want one for my left knee, I simply ordered from Amazon. I took two stars off because the one received from mail order is slightly shorter (1/2") while the double lining at the knee around the hole is missing i.e. when comparing to the photo and the one from the store. I guess what I got earlier is from old inventory i.e. before the manufacturer trimmed down the quality of the product because of cost, you know, it is a very common practice when the owner of the brand trying to keep the retail price and margin the same while material or labor costs from Taiwan/China are increasing. Well, you never win, you keep the money but hurt the goodwill or the future of the brand.

Works well and is comfortable.

I have been using these for years and very happy with the results. If I don't wear this my knee starts to pain after running and takes a week to settle down so the solution for me is to wear them every time I run...problem solved
