Necchi Q132A Automatic Sewing Machine Needle Threader 32 Count Heavy Duty Performance

I needed a domestic sewing machine to get through many layers of thick fabric so I did a bit of online research. I decided to take a chance on the Necchi Q132A and I have been totally blown away at how easy it is to use and how well it stitched through 8 layers of upholstery fabric. first project of a weekend bag completed - now feel inspired to get on with more heavy duty makes!Update - sewing machine became faulty after few months with 'birds nesting and timing issues. I was disappointed and concerned that the seller had had poor feedback for communication - HOWEVER, I can report back that communication has always been quick and thorough. I returned my machine to his designated repairer who frustratingly, didn't resolve the issue. Charles kept lines of communication open and sent my machine (at his expense) to the UK Necchi dealer. Their engineer found the fault too - always a bonus - not down to me!. He made adjustments and wrote a succinct report back. I haven't had a chance to try the machine again yet but looking at the free motion sewing sample he did on the machine, I'm confident I'll be finishing my grandaughter's quilt very soon.

Waited for a while before reviewing - I want to say what a great machine it really is! I've never used a machine before and found the instructions great to follow. The machine itself is easy to use once you get to know it. Love it & highly recommend.

very basic mechanical sewing machine which is just what I wanted. seems to tackle quite thick material, I used it for stitching 6 layers of polar fleece. despite reply to my question being incorrect, this machine takes standard Brother size bobbins, size A Sa156, comes with 3.extension table is very stable, just a bit hard to remove. Goes very fast, but a bit tricky to stitch slowly. very easy to thread, manual/auto threader works really well.

Haven't done much on it yet but what I have used it for its been very easy to use and set up, and it's quiet when running compared to my industrial sewing machine, very pleased and value for money as it is more heavy duty than a domestic sewing machine which is what I was looking for.

So straightforward, so dependable, so nice to look at, I have nothing negative to say about this fabulous machine. As a sewing machine phobic from school days this was my reward for overcoming my fear on an IKEA Sy machine because I'm worth it! :) :) :

Really wanted to love the Necchi q132a, it was great for canvas work but after the second machine broke within 2 months, I had to give up and go crawling back to Singer with my tail between my legs.. 😳 At first machine works beautifully. Then first machine stopped picking up lower thread, contacted Amazon to see if they could help but they offered refund instead. So I reordered same one. Second Necchi only worked for few days til feed dog started hitting back wall. I’m not sure what happened there, or with first one. Cleaned them up from all visible debris and fluff but didn’t want to actually open up as still had warranty so just had to give up. Sad times as when it was working, it was working great. Ive got the singer 6335m denim now, so far so good 😊

Only received today but everything i needed was with it to use straight out of the box.Came with uk plug and a two prong adapter plug.Instructions included and a sample of stitches.Seems like a solid machine and certainly a upgrade of my basic machine.
