1913 Adventure Vacuum Beer Stein 0.7L - Hammertone Green

Lovely looking tankard but wheres the lid. I bought this for my partner to use during outdoor activites. Not much point without a lid as it will spill before he arrives at his destination. It should be called a cup rather than travel mug! The description is all wrong. Gutted.

Thought I would wait a few weeks before I did the review. I have used this tankard daily over the summer and in my opinion it’s one of the best things I’ve purchased this year Pro 1) it works ! it keeps liquids cool to the extent that if you put water from the fridge in it at say 11pm it’s still cool in the morning not room temp I don’t use it for hot drinks but I’m sure it would keep them warmer 2) it’s ergonomic and the handle is comfortable to hold 3) It doesn’t smell as it’s made out of stainless steel and is easy to wash out. 4) It holds enough to quench your thirst 5) It isn’t heavy and looks good in the olive green in my opinion Con None really I would recommend this product to anyone

It doesn't have a lid. It's neither vacuum sealed nor is it a stein if it doesn't have a lid - I was expecting it to come with a lid of some kind, judging by the descriptive name of the product. Instead this is just a generic metal tankard with a plastic handle. The colour is nice I suppose and it's fairly unique looking, feels incredibly robust while at the same time is quite light. Bought this as a gift for an avid drinker who spends a lot of time sitting on river banks, and it just so happens to be the absolute perfect shade of green which is their favourite colour, so I'm generally happy with this as a gift, but I wouldn't be happy if I bought it expecting it to actually function. Unless it's supposed to be refridgerated and somehow the tankard itself remains ice cold itself for an extended period of time or something, but that's hardly a vacuum or a stein, is it? Regardless, I'm sure they'll be happy with it - a mug is a mug, after all.

It does what it says and even on a hot day there is no notable loss of chill. Down sides are the expense and a certain loss of sensory experience. I miss seeing the amber nectar and the reassuring weight of a glass tankard. You can't have it all I suppose...

I was disappointed as because it said it was for travel and kept the drinks cold for eight hours I expected it to have a lid ! Should make it clear

I have a number of Stanley items like the huge flask which keeps things hot for at least 24 hours and cold for way longer, to the hip flask and associated shot cups as well as other items. All in the hammered green - of course. I have hankered after this beer stein for some time but delayed due to price. Stanley is great but not cheap. So when it appeared on line for around £16 I snapped it up. I am not disappointed. It holds a whole bottle of 750ml Leffe Blond and keeps it cold for hours. Easy to use and clean I am a happy chappy. Highly recommended and will buy another - when the price is right

Firstly this is undoubtedly a very high quality product. Beautiful finish, lovely colour and solid feel. Definitely a premium product. What's not premium is the packaging. In fact apart from the Amazon transport box there is no packaging! This was pretty disappointing as I was giving this as a gift so a nice box or even just a box, would be great. Considering the premium positioning & cost, it really should be packaged in a modern sustainable shell.

Love this, doesnt keep things as cold as other thermal tankard, but looks cool, and I keep it at the local pub.

I bought it as a gift for a friend and he was very happy with it.
